Types of sports shooting from a pistol. Characteristics of bullet shooting as a sport. Developing and educating the functions of shooting sports. Hunting and sporting weapons - what's the difference

Shooting is a sport in which participants compete in accuracy and accuracy of hitting a target by shooting from different types weapons. Some types of shooting belong to the Olympic sports, moreover, archery is one of the oldest disciplines.

Types of sports shooting

In general, shooting is understood as a combination of several disciplines, in each of which the ability to use a certain type of weapon is tested. Judging by the numerous shooting ranges that are located in city parks, it is safe to say that the most popular types of shooting are from a pistol and from an air rifle.

According to the directions, shooting can be divided into bench, bullet and practical.

Bench shooting

Such shooting takes place in an open area, where main task arrow is hitting the target. The target is a plate fired at a certain speed from a special machine. In the form of a weapon, a shotgun is used, if at least a fraction of the shot hits the target, the plate breaks. If this happens, then the shot is considered counted.

Shotgun shooting is also divided into types: round stand, trench stand, double-trap and sporting.

bullet shooting

This type of shooting is carried out both at moving and at standing targets. In the form of a weapon, a rifle, rifle or pistol is used.

Targets used for shooting may be printed or electronic. Printed targets are made in the printing house. The pattern is applied to a material with a high density, white or cream shade. When the bullet pierces through this material, the edges remain even, preventing them from tearing.

Electronic targets are most often installed at competitions, they are able to independently determine the clarity of the shot and hitting the target.

Practical shooting

The most interesting and spectacular view of all of the above. The conditions under which the competitions are held are closest to reality, for example, hunting or a military operation. Everything here must be accurate and fast.

The athlete must hit as quickly as possible all the targets that will meet on his way. To win, the athlete must cover the distance faster than anyone else, while accurately hitting the targets. Also, the power of the weapon is taken into account: the larger it is, the more difficult it is to hit the target, respectively, additional points can be given for this.

Such competitions can take place both in open areas and in special premises.

Sports shooting training

Nowadays, it is difficult to find a city where there would not be a shooting section, all this is due to the increase in the popularity of this sport. Both children and adults sign up for it, of course, the male gender predominates in such classes. Although now girls' interest in sports shooting is increasing.

Tactical shooting is probably the most popular direction. During these classes, the rules of the use of weapons and methods are studied, all this is considered in a wide variety of life situations. Most often, coaches try to take real combat and defense situations as a basis.

In such classes, first of all, the rules of self-defense and ways to protect loved ones are studied. That is why it is safe to say that in the shooting section you can gain knowledge that can be useful in real life.

The section accepts everyone aged 12 years and above. During the training, theoretical and practical courses are studied that tell about the correct handling of weapons.

As an Olympic discipline, bullet shooting has come a long way in evolution. For the first time shooting competitions were registered on Olympic Games ah in Athens, 1896. In our country, at about the same time, bullet sport also began to develop, first as a “garrison fun”, and by 1952 the USSR represented its athletes in this discipline at the Olympic Games. hallmark bullet shooting, is to use rifled weapons.

To prevent injury, in this sport it is recommended to purchase and protective goggles.

Beginning shooters can purchase semi-professional, , and .

Bench shooting

Bench shooting differs from bullet shooting in the type of weapon used. In trap shooting, smoothbore weapons are used. The essence of this discipline lies in the fact that the shooter fires from a smooth-bore weapon, ammunition with shot, the target is "skeet". This sport appeared almost simultaneously with hunting. At the beginning of the 20th century, the discipline was already Olympic.

An important acquisition will be the unloading system. Since the shooting is carried out from smooth-bore weapons, the same as those of hunters, you can also use . For more accurate and convenient use, it is recommended to purchase a tactical, or .

Clay shooting also involves a wider choice of clothing than bullet shooting. Considerable attention should be paid to , as it is the guarantor of your "stability". sports shooting- a sport in which athletes compete in shooting accuracy from different types of weapons.

The history of the emergence and development of sports shooting

Shooting sport is considered one of the most ancient applied types sports. It appeared in the distant times of bows and crossbows. In the middle of the XIV century, bows and crossbows evolved into firearms, after which bullet shooting began to develop actively.

In 1449, the first shooting societies began to appear in France, later they appeared in England and the USA.

In 1896, rifle and pistol shooting competitions were included in the program of the first Olympic Games in 1896, and from 1897 world championships in bullet shooting began to be held regularly.

Types of sports shooting

bullet shooting- one of the types of shooting sports, in which athletes compete in shooting from pneumatic, small-caliber, large-caliber rifles and pistols. Bullet shooting is olympic view sports, in particular Olympic program includes 5 exercises for shooting from a rifle (MV-5, VP-4, MV-6, MV-9, VP-6) and the same number from a pistol (MP-5, PP-2, MP-6, MP-8, PP-3).

Abbreviations for the type of weapon:

VP- pneumatic rifle
MV- small caliber rifle
AB- standard large-caliber rifle
PV- random large-caliber rifle
PP- air gun
MP- small caliber pistol
RP- revolver-pistol of the central battle.

Exercises:

MV-5- shooting from a small-caliber rifle, distance 50 m. Position - lying, standing, kneeling, 3 × 20 shots.

VP-4Pneumatic rifle. 40 shots standing. Time 1 hour 15 min. An unlimited number of trial shots are allowed before scoring shots are fired.

MV-6— Any small-caliber rifle. Distance 50 m. Target No. 7. Shooting is carried out in the sequence: 40 shots prone (1 hour 00 minutes), 40 standing (1 hour 30 minutes), 40 kneeling (1 hour 15 minutes). In each of the positions, an unlimited number of trial shots are allowed before the performance of the test shots. The winner is determined by the sum of points scored in three positions.

MV-9— Any small-caliber rifle. Distance 50 m. Target No. 7. Shooting is carried out in the sequence: 20 shots prone, 20 standing, 20 kneeling. Total time for shooting from three positions 2 h 30 min. In each of the positions, an unlimited number of trial shots are allowed before the performance of the test shots.

VP-6- Pneumatic rifle. Distance 10 m. Target No. 8. 60 shots standing. Time 1 hour 45 min. An unlimited number of trial shots are allowed before scoring shots are fired.

MP-5- a standard (sports) small-caliber pistol (in the international classification, a pistol for the MP-5 exercise) is usually called a sports pistol, although this is the same pistol from which the MP-10 exercise is performed. Distance 25 m. The exercise is divided into two parts. The first - 30 shots - is carried out on a fixed target No. 4, the second - 30 shots - on an emerging target No. 5. Shooting is carried out in series of 5 shots at one target. In the first half, each series is completed in 6 minutes; in the second half in each series, the target appears 5 times for 3 seconds, during which the shooter fires one shot (pauses between the appearances of the target are 7 seconds). First, all participants perform the first half of the exercise, and then the second.

PP-2- shooting from an air pistol, distance 10 m, 40 shots.

PP-3- shooting from an air pistol, distance 10 m, 60 shots. Time 1 hour 45 min. An unlimited number of trial shots are allowed before the start of record shots.

MP-6- an arbitrary small-caliber pistol. Distance 50 m. Target No. 4. 60 shots. Time 2 h 00 min. An unlimited number of trial shots are allowed before scoring shots are fired.

MP-8- fast-firing small-caliber pistol. Distance 25 m. 5 simultaneously appearing targets No. 5. 60 shots. Shooting is carried out in series of 5 shots; the shooter fires one shot at each of the five simultaneously appearing targets. The exercise is divided into 2 halves, each of which consists of two series of 8 s, two of 6 s, and two of 4 s. Before the start of test shooting in each half of the exercise, one trial series is performed for 8 s. First, all participants perform the first half of the exercise, and then the second.

The numbers in the abbreviations indicate the serial number of the exercise in the national sports classification for shooting.

Bench shooting- one of the types of shooting sports, in which athletes compete in shooting at open shooting ranges. Shooting is carried out with shot from smoothbore guns at special targets-plates.

The Olympic Games include 3 disciplines of clay shooting:

  • Round stand - athletes fire on skeet, moving from one shooting place to another (8 in total), as well as changing the angle of fire relative to the trajectories of outgoing targets.
  • Trench stand - athletes fire at skeet thrown out of the trench in a random direction.
  • Double-trap - the same as the trench stand, but the plates are thrown in pairs and the shooting is carried out in a doublet.

Practical shooting- one of the types of shooting sports, the purpose of which is the assimilation and development of techniques that most fully meet the various cases of the use of firearms.

Shooting skill is evaluated as a balance of three main components:

  • Accuracy - points for hitting targets;
  • Speed - time from the start signal to the last shot;
  • Power - the use of weapons of greater power is encouraged big amount points awarded for hitting scoring areas of targets, in addition, a minimum caliber and a minimum power factor are established.

The result is the sum of the scores for hitting all targets, including penalties, divided by the execution time.

Shooting from the bench (benchrest) is one of the types of shooting sports, the goal of the athletes is to make five (or ten) shots at the scoring target; the smaller the group size, the higher the shooter will place in the end of the competition. Shooting is carried out while sitting at a special table with the rifle set at point-blank range for shooting.

There are the following disciplines of shooting from the table:

  • benchrest BR-50 - shooting from small-caliber devices;
  • short benchrest - shooting at a distance of 100, 200 or 300 (meters or yards);
  • benchrest Long Range - shooting at a distance: 500, 600, 1000 (meters or yards) and a mile.

Varminting- one of the types of shooting sports, in which athletes compete in shooting at long and ultra-long distances, mainly at rodents. It is allowed to use artificial targets imitating the silhouette of marmots.

sniping- one of the types of shooting sports, in which athletes compete in shooting from sniper weapons.

Shooting competitions

Olympic Games are held every four years.

The World Shooting Championship - in bullet shooting is held every four years, and in clay shooting - every two years.

World Cup - held 4 times a year, but only in Olympic disciplines.

The European Championship is a competition for the best shooters in Europe, held every two years.

Pan American Games (eng. Pan American Games) - major international competitions By summer species sports are held every four years.

Direct observation of these competitions International Federation sports shooting, as world records can be set on them.

Sports shooting structures

International Sports Shooting Federation(English International Sport Shooting Federation, ISSF) is a sports structure that controls and coordinates the activities of its member national shooting federations.

We tried to cover the topic as fully as possible, so this information can be safely used in the preparation of messages, reports on physical education and abstracts on the topic "Sport shooting".

Shooting is one of the sports that dates back to the time when firearms appeared in the middle of the 14th century. This species is included in Olympic disciplines.

Sports shooting is a complex-coordination sport, which requires the athlete to have a highly organized control of his neuromuscular system and to possess the skills of intermuscular coordination. Successful competitive activity requires those involved regular classes consisting of general and special physical training of shooters.

They start shooting from the age of 11-12, when the formation of a young organism is still taking place, and especially the musculoskeletal system. locomotive system. Shooting sports can continue for several decades. The history of shooting sports knows examples when athletes over the age of 60 and even 70 years old performed at the Olympic Games. On the other hand, all over the world there is a rejuvenation of the contingent of shooters, so today it is no longer a rarity when adult European and World Championships are won by junior athletes. Until recently, the winners and prize-winners of the junior championships were determined only by the results of the qualification. But due to the increased density of results, finals were also held among juniors. This led to an increase in the load on the incompletely formed body of young athletes, which in turn required a revision of not only the technical equipment of shooters, but also their training programs and, in particular, the program for the prevention and recovery, primarily of the musculoskeletal system, which is subject to significant changes from exposure to large static loads while holding weapons weighing up to 5.5 kg, as well as fatigue from monotonous work, which affects the psycho-emotional state of young athletes.

The rapid and rapid development of shooting sports requires modern approach. First of all, this refers to the development of modern methods training process aimed at achieving high sports results and the development of harmoniously developed citizens of the Fatherland, as well as at maintaining and strengthening the health of athletes for the implementation of many years of successful competitive activity at a consistently high level.

Features of sports shooting

Shooting sport is one of the most ancient applied sports. It includes several varieties: it is bullet shooting, trap shooting and archery and crossbow shooting. One of the popular types is bullet shooting.

Bullet shooting, like trap shooting, is included in the program of the Olympic Games and is one of the oldest Olympic disciplines. The first shooting medals were played at the II Olympic Games in Paris in 1900. Since 1984, competitions for men and women have been held separately.

Competitions in shooting sports are held under the auspices of International Sport Shooting Federation.

Unlike other sports where athletes fight each other, in bullet shooting the shooter is fighting himself. It is important for an athlete to learn how to control himself in training and use this experience in competitions.

Starting from the Games of the XXIV Olympiad (Seoul, 1988), women's exercises in bullet shooting VP-4 and MV-5 were introduced, two exercises for riflemen - shooting from pneumatic and small-caliber weapons. In bullet shooting, according to the Russian and International Competition Rules, all positions (preparations) are strictly regulated. Readiness is one of the main factors that determine the quality of a well-aimed shot.

There are 3 main shooting positions - prone, standing and kneeling. Mastering shooting exercises begins from a prone position, then standing and the last from the knee.

The position for prone shooting should provide: firstly, good stability of the rifle with the least tension on the shooter's muscular apparatus; secondly, a long stay of the shooter's body in the same position during shooting; thirdly, such a position of the head, in which the most favorable conditions will be created for the work of the eye during aiming. When preparing for prone shooting, the angle of rotation of the torso relative to the shooting plane should be small, within 12-20 °; the left leg should be straightened, resting the toe on the ground, and the right leg should be arbitrarily bent; should lie with a slight collapse on the left side, but so that there is no excessive overload of the left hand; the preparation should be as low as possible, for which the left hand should be moved as far forward as possible; rest the back of the butt should be closer to the neck; head position should be such that, as far as possible, look at the target straight ahead.

In order to find a rational position for shooting from the knee, you need to: distribute the weight of your body on the fulcrum so that on left leg, serving as a support for the left hand with a rifle, accounted for the smallest weight load. Despite the unnatural posture, achieve fixation of the moving parts of your body with the least tension muscular system, especially making sure that there is no overload of individual muscle groups, which will inevitably lead to an increase in the amplitude of the rifle's oscillations and a violation of the stability in the nature of these oscillations; find a position that ensures such a head positioning that will create the most favorable conditions for the eye to work while aiming.

The standing position is the least stable in comparison with other types. The lower stability of the preparation is due here, firstly, to the fact that the general center of gravity of the "shooter's body - rifle" system is much higher above the support area, and the support area itself is much smaller, since it is limited only by the feet of both legs and the area enclosed between them. Secondly, when shooting while standing, the muscular apparatus is more tense, which is necessary to fix the moving parts of the body and keep it in a vertical position; in this case, the action and reaction of the muscles cannot create absolute immobility of the body, in connection with which there is more and less swaying of it. Therefore, standing shooting is the most complex and difficult exercise in shooting sports. At present, the position for standing shooting should be distinguished by a not very wide setting of the legs, orientation of the supporting surfaces along the shooting plane, a significant bending of the body in the back due to the extension of the pelvis anteriorly, a large compensatory movement of the body to the right and sideways, a certain "twisting" of the body in the lower back, most vertical position of the forearm of the left hand, free positioning of the head with minimal tension of the neck muscles, not very tight butt and the most possible relaxation of the muscles of the right side of the shoulder girdle.

Having considered all types of preparations, let's move on to the specific requirements in bullet shooting.

The actions of the shooter are characterized by monotony, statistical work of the muscles of the legs, torso and arms at the time of the shot. Marksmanship depends on the degree of stability and immobility of the entire "shooter-weapon" system. The process of making a shot requires fine coordination of movements, the ability to control muscle efforts.

Bullet shooting makes specific demands on the physical abilities of the shooter. If for major sports physical training is leading in the process of training, then bullet shooting develops special physical qualities, such as coordination (stability), static endurance. According to many authors, physically developed shooters have advantages with the same technical readiness. Well-trained athletes are easier to endure the training load, recover faster, and keep fit longer.

Another one of important features this sport is a psychological tension. It can manifest itself in a violation of motor skills, in an increase in heart rate and tremor, in violation of fine coordination of movements when performing a shot.

The impact of shooting on the body of an athlete is associated with specific loads:

Static character on the muscular apparatus, (tension of the muscles of the legs and torso, concentration of attention on the preliminary relaxation of the muscles that are not involved in the execution of the shot, general control over the position of the body, without focusing on its individual parts, and also focuses on fixing the ankle joint) ,

Great tension of the nervous system (the need for long-term preservation of actions of high accuracy and great concentration of attention),

Holding your breath while firing a shot

Irritants occurring under unsatisfactory conditions in open and closed shooting ranges.

With prolonged shooting, the light sensitivity of the eyes decreases and, depending on the exercise, weight loss occurs from 2 to 3 kg. Physically well-trained shooters are more likely to endure these high loads.

Muscular apparatus and nervous system arrow play a big role in ensuring the greatest immobility of the body when preparing for shooting, you need at least in general terms get acquainted with physiological foundations human locomotor system.

The history of bullet shooting has quite old roots.

Competitions for accuracy, for hitting the "bull's eye" are counted from competitions in archery and crossbow.

With the advent of firearms in the middle of the 14th century, shooting competitions began. First with smoothbore guns. And the creation of rifled weapons led to the development of such a sport as bullet shooting.

Unlike other sports where athletes compete in single combat with each other, in bullet shooting the shooter fights the most difficult of fights - a duel with himself. Here it is important to be able to control yourself, show everything that you have learned in training, use your competitive experience.

Accurate sports shooting is a difficult-coordinating skill. Everyone can master it, but with the expenditure of a lot of work and time to study the basics of the theory of shooting, the material part of the weapon, and most importantly, to master the technique of a well-aimed shot, to systematically improve its elements, to consolidate and improve acquired skills.

Shooting lessons form an athlete's composure, endurance, observation, eye and the will to win. Achieving records requires not only perfect shooting technique, but also the ability to control your emotions.

Rifle and pistol shooting competitions were included in the program of the first Olympic Games in 1896.

The actions of the shooter are characterized by monotony, static work of the muscles of the legs, torso and arms at the time of the shot. The process of making a shot requires fine coordination of movements and muscle memory.

Bullet shooting makes specific demands on the physical abilities of an athlete. If for representatives of speed-strength sports physical training is the leading one in the training process, then bullet shooting imposes limited requirements in this sense, designed for the optimal development of such special physical qualities like coordination - stability, static endurance.

Each athlete before the competition and during them is covered with excitement. However, such a negative effect of this factor on the result, as in bullet shooting, is not observed in any other sport. This is due to the fact that the actions of the shooter are in the nature of finely and precisely coordinated movements, which vary greatly under the influence of the state of the shooter.

IN right moment the shooter must be able to concentrate, disconnect from the environment, not notice the presence of spectators, judges, not react to noise, conversations, etc., suppress involuntary thoughts that are not related to the work being done.

Shooting is carried out in closed, open and semi-closed shooting ranges and shooting ranges at various distances: 10, 25, 50, 300 m. The rate and rhythm of shooting, the selection of appropriate sights and light filters, the method of aiming and trigger control . Unexpected changes in light require the shooter to take immediate action.

Wind has a significant effect on shooting, which reduces the stability of the “shooter-weapon” system, as well as the ambient temperature. Mirage can be attributed to one of the most difficult obstacles for marksmanship. Each shooting range and shooting range, although they meet the requirements of the rules of the competition, still have their own characteristics, on which the result of shooting depends to a certain extent.

There is a constant unceasing noise in the line of fire and it's not just the sounds of shots. For the shooter, these sounds are, as it were, a background and are perceived by him subconsciously. The source of constant noise is the movement of spectators and judges, the conversations of spectators and much more. From the whole variety of sounds, the subconscious mind of the shooter highlights those that are significant for him. This may be an appeal to him, a remark, advice or an exchange of opinions between viewers about his results, behavior, equipment. The reaction to these irritations can cause hasty, ill-conceived actions and, as a result, the loss of precious points.

The chief physician of the medical and physical education dispensary Lyueva Elena Borisovna tells us about the benefits and harms of this sport for health:

Bullet shooting plays a certain role both in the physical and in the moral-volitional development of a teenager. Schoolchildren, when practicing bullet shooting, develop such qualities as psychological activity, attention, emotional stability, strong-willed efforts.

Psychological activity is closely related to attention. Shooting classes are built in such a way that psychological activity is selective and, depending on the stage of execution of each shot, attention is focused on its elements in turn.

Shooting develops memory. Shooters have such a thing as “shot mark” - imprinting the position of sights in relation to the aiming point or area at the moment the trigger is released. There is always emotional tension in shooting competitions, so shooting athletes must develop resistance to stressful situations and control over emotions. The only thing that can suffer when practicing bullet shooting is the eyes. To do this, it is necessary to carry out prevention, drink vitamins for the eyes.

I suggest you get acquainted with a bullet shooting coach

Ilnitskaya Tatiana, candidate for master of sports in shooting, has been engaged in this sport for more than 20 years. Favorite type of weapon is a rifle. She became a coach by the will of fate. There was no one to take care of the kids. In 2002, a bullet shooting department was opened at the base sports school"Zhastar".

"Lada": Tatyana, at what age do you accept children in the section?

Tatyana Ilnitskaya:We accept children from 12 years of age. Training is free, trainings are held from morning to evening. The guys come at a convenient time for them.

"Lada": How many people are constantly engaged in the section? And who is more - boys or girls?

Tatyana Ilnitskaya: The section has 60-70 people. The vast majority are boys. But we have a lot of stubborn girls who achieve good results. Our athletes go to regional competitions and we have good results in general results.

"Lada": What are the requirements for those wishing to come to study in the section?

Tatyana Ilnitskaya: Bullet shooting, like other sports, makes great demands on the athlete as a person. He must have high moral qualities, emotional stability. IN extreme conditions, the athlete must show such qualities of character as perseverance, determination and endurance.

"Lada":Bullet shooting is a non-dynamic sport, athletes spend hours learning to stand and hold weapons in their hands. Does it happen that after a couple of classes the guys do not return to you?

Tatyana Ilnitskaya: Yes, this happens often. I would say that this sport is very good for phlegmatic and calm people. Coming to us, many are waiting for a drive, that they will immediately be given weapons in their hands and there will be an opportunity to shoot. This is wrong. We teach first general position, rules of conduct in the shooting range, racks, and only after a couple of months we are allowed to shoot.

"Lada": How much does a sports uniform cost?

Tatyana Ilnitskaya:You don't need a uniform for training, only for competitions A kit for a shooter costs about 150,000 tenge. Of no small importance is the fact that the uniforms are given to athletes in the section and there is no need to buy it yourself. It was given to us by sponsors. The only problem in the shooting range is that there are not enough high-quality weapons, all of which have been left over from the times of the USSR.

When we entered the shooting range, we saw how the novice athletes stand motionless in the stance. It turns out that in this position they can stand for hours - this is necessary in order for the hand to get used to the weapon, as well as to improve coordination of movement.

Only guys from senior group fired accurately at the target. This shooting range teaches to shoot from pneumatic, small-caliber and large-caliber pistols and rifles.

The professional form of the shooter weighs 3-4 kg. The jacket with special inserts on the back and elbows resembles a corset, it is impossible to bend in it, and leather gloves are an essential attribute of an athlete.

My joy knew no bounds when they gave me a rifle. Once I had the opportunity to shoot at the Dynamo stadium in Moscow and smell the smell of gunpowder from the Mosin three-line rifle, Saiga and Kalashnikov. I have had a love for firearms since childhood. This is drive and adrenaline - at such a moment you feel like a Bond girl.

Now the section is recruiting girls under 16 years old. Why girls? - you ask. So girls can not only “shoot” with their eyes, but also handle weapons well.

I want to wish you, dear readers, good health, excellent endurance and 100% accuracy!
