Personal life

His father is Kazakh, his mother is Belarusian, he has a younger brother, Yevgeny, and a younger sister, Ulyana. When Dinara was three years old, the family moved to Belarus.

Studying at Belarusian State University physical education, at the department skiing and biathlon. Meets with a member of the Russian junior biathlon team Kirill Streltsov.

Relay at the Olympics. None of them failed at their stage, and Dinara Alimbekova, who could cause concern for someone, performed above all praise.

We know Nadezhda Skardino, Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova and Daria Domracheva as outstanding athletes, but what are they like in ordinary life?

Nadezhda Skardino: I have two homelands

Nadia is from St. Petersburg, but has been living in Belarus for a long time. “I am both Russian and Belarusian,” says Nadezhda. In Belarus, people are somehow kinder. I noticed this after I arrived in St. Petersburg and entered the subway there. All of them are evil and wary. Belarusians are more liberated.”

Scardino grew up in a large family: she has two brothers and four sisters. Nadezhda helps her family in any way she can.

Belarusian biathlete one of the most accurate in the world. This despite the fact that she has astigmatism. He showed up “because I used to shoot a lot,” says Nadia. She underwent surgery, but doctors cannot promise that this visual defect will not recur.

Nadezhda's height is only 160 centimeters - this is one of the smallest biathletes. At the Olympics in Sochi, Nadezhda has already taken bronze in the individual race, and now she will also have an Olympic gold medal.

As for her personal life, Scardino is not yet married.

Irina Krivko: she came to biathlon after her house burned down

The girl is 26 years old, she comes from Senno, a small regional center of the Vitebsk region. Irina says that she got into the sport through misfortune: the house burned down, and the family moved to a hostel, which is located next to the training base. “If the house hadn’t burned down, I would hardly have gone to biathlon, because from the old place I had to go to training through the cemetery,” says Krivko.

Irina's families are not wealthy. Mom works as an assistant teacher in a kindergarten, and her father left the family a long time ago. Irina's mother admits that when the children went to biathlon, it became much easier, because the state took over a lot. Irina's brother, Victor, is also a biathlete, but he did not achieve such high results.

In December last year, Irina admitted that she accepted the marriage proposal, and now wears a ring. Her chosen one is the serviceman of the national team, and the couple is always together. In the same month, she made her first World Cup podium, taking silver in the mass start.

Dinara Alimbekova: moved to Belarus at the age of three

Dinara is the youngest member of our team, she is 22 years old. Dinara's father is Kazakh, the girl was born in the Karaganda region. Mother from Russia. When Dinara was three years old, the family moved to Belarus, to the district center of Chausy, Mogilev region. Mom works there as an accountant, she broke up with the girl’s father. Dinara has a brother.

Dinara came to Kazakhstan only once - at the age of seven. The girl never dreamed of playing for the Kazakh national team. “Everything suits me in Belarus.” I got into biathlon when I was 11 years old. At that time, Alimbekova was already engaged in choreography and piano. She cried and asked her mother to let her go in for sports. Managed to persuade.

In the team, Dinara is jokingly, kindly, called a dinosaur. “But I’m not bloodthirsty at all. On the contrary, kind. Sometimes even too kind.

Daria Domracheva: hero of Belarus

Daria is the first and so far the only woman to bear the honorary title Hero of Belarus. Daria was awarded this title after she won three gold medals at once at the Sochi Olympics. After the gold of Pyeongchang, Domracheva has four medals the highest standard, and now she is the most decorated biathlete in history. No female biathlete has yet won four Olympic gold medals.

Daria was born in Minsk, but was brought up in the Tyumen region. Dasha's father Vladimir moved to Siberia, worked there as an architect. Then, on his initiative, mother Larisa was also invited there, who became the chief architect of Nyagan, a city in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of the Tyumen Region. In 2004, the mother moved first to Moscow, and then to Belarus. My father died in Nyagan at the age of 54, his heart could not stand it. He was buried in Mikhanovichi near Minsk.

Domracheva had no doubts about which country to play for. She always wanted to represent Belarus. Daria has a fantastic sports career: these are Olympic gold medals, and the world championship, and victory in the World Cup.

Domracheva's personal life is not a secret. She is married to the king of biathlon, the great Norwegian Ole Einar Bjoerndalen.

The couple lives and trains in Austria, builds a cottage in Minsk. Daria and Ole have a daughter, Ksenia. During the Olympics, the daughter stayed with her grandmother in Minsk. It was her husband who was the first to run up today to congratulate Domracheva on another medal.

Today, for Domracheva, the decisive moment has probably come to decide whether to end her career or continue to win.

Draw ends on Thursday Olympic medals V women's biathlon. Nadezhda Skardino, Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova and Daria Domracheva competed for Belarus in the relay and won gold sensationally. If everything was predictable with the names announced for the first two stages and the finisher, then the struggle for the last quota continued between Alimbekova and Pisareva until the last. the site introduces the winner of this unspoken battle - a 22-year-old biathlete who rides a snowboard, plays the piano and pleases subscribers with sultry photos from summer holidays.

How is it performing this season?

Dinara is in 73rd place in the overall standings of the World Cup. This season, she started at four stages - in Annecy, where she replaced Domracheva, Oberhof, Ruhpolding and Antholz, who missed the French races. The best for the young Belarusian was the sprint in Annecy - perfect shooting, 61st speed and 33rd place in the final protocol.

But the relay experience is significantly less. Alimbekova joined the women's four only once - at the January stage in Oberhof. The race turned out from the category of those that are better to forget and pretend that nothing happened.

At the German stage, Dinara earned three penalty loops in the prone, failing to defeat the Oberhof fog, and sent Domracheva to the distance in an uncomfortable and unusual second place from the bottom. In that relay race, Belarus was removed from the race due to a lap delay. Probably, the weather can be considered a mitigating circumstance, in which it is difficult to knock out 10 out of 10. Although the same Nadezhda Skardino coped with the mission.

However, the team coaches did not judge Alimbekova too harshly and took her to the Olympics. In Korea, the 22-year-old athlete has so far only run in the individual, where she collected a penalty minute at each firing line and became 56th. Her main competitor for a place in the Olympic relay was Nadezhda Pisareva.

The more experienced Belarusian took part in the sprint and pursuit - she took 52nd and 44th places, respectively. Pisareva did not make mistakes at the shooting range more than three times during the race and drove both starts with a speed gap of about two minutes from the leaders. Alimbekova in a longer individual lost three and a half minutes to the fastest Kuzmina.

Nevertheless, the coaches of the national team chose the young and promising Dinara. Surely they have more information on hand than dry statistics. But there is at least one obvious argument in favor of Alimbekova: after Domracheva and Skardino leave the sport, this particular Belarusian biathlete, paired with Irina Krivko, will have to fight for places in the elite.

What else do we know about Dinara Alimbekova?

Born in Kazakhstan

She was born in the city of Abay in the Karaganda region, but at the age of three she moved with her parents to Belarus. By nationality, the biathlete's mother is Russian, and her father is Kazakh. “My whole conscious life is connected with Belarus, and I feel 100% Belarusian”- admitted Dinara.

Plays the piano, rides a snowboard

The future biathlete of the national team grew up in the city of Chausy with a population of just over 10 thousand. She was engaged in choreography and studied at the school of arts in the piano class. At the age of 11, Alimbekova started skiing for the first time: "I liked it so much sports school that I even cried so that my mother would let me go to training instead of lessons "- recalled the racer. At first, she tried to combine all the activities - she was returning from the competition "with medals and notes in hands", but then made a choice in favor of biathlon.

There were no athletes in her family. “Only grandfather is engaged in physical education - in winter he runs barefoot in the snow, hardens”- said Dinara.

Another hobby of the biathlete is skating and snowboarding. Racer loves adrenaline and explosive emotions. That's why best holiday for her - not to lie on the couch, but to drive on the board or screw up a couple of high-speed laps on skates.

Fairy at the Junior World Championships

In 2015, the name of Alimbekova sounded loudly at the home junior world championship in Raubichi. Dinara became the world champion in the relay in the company of Daria Blashko and Anna Sola.

Alimbekova said that even at that time she earned an informal nickname Dinosaur in the team. Why? Because of the consonance with the name.

Girls jokingly call Dinosaur. But I'm not bloodthirsty at all. On the contrary, kind. Sometimes even too much, which interferes.

Received a diploma from BSUPC

A 22-year-old biathlete is a girl with a “tower” diploma in her pocket. Alimbekova studied at the Department of Skiing and Biathlon at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. And in the summer of 2017, she wrote down a joyful post of a graduate with a signature "Biathletes fired back!".

Almost every Belarusian knows the biography of Darya Domracheva: Nyagan, returning to his homeland, the path through thorns to the stars, marriage to Bjoerndalen. Nadezhda Scardino has been with us for a long time, although she comes from St. Petersburg, she won bronze in Sochi-2014. But we didn’t know much about Dinara Alimbekova and Irina Krivko.

“For two years I combined my studies, music school and biathlon”

Dinara's mother, Irina Alexandrovna, started watching the gold race at work, and then hurried home with joyful cries.

When Dinara fired back, she was the first to leave the rack, she realized that we would have a medal, asked for time off and ran home (Irina Alexandrovna works as an accountant. - Ed.). At work, she shouted: “Girls, thank you! We will have a medal! I managed to see the final minutes of the race, completely reviewed it late in the evening. So many congratulations started pouring in.

After the race we talked a little. Dinara said that she was very tired. She said: “I don’t know why, but the last lap was very hard, probably because of the weather. Everything shackled: both legs and arms. I couldn't add. She admitted that she still did not fully understand what had happened. Then after 11 pm they phoned again. She didn't sleep. As well as us. She said that she was arriving on February 27th. They seem to have been allowed to stay at home for a few days, probably, they will come to Chausy, - says Irina Alexandrovna.

But it was originally planned that Nadezhda Pisareva would run in the relay quartet.

Initially, Dinara was taken to the Olympics so that she ran one race - an individual one. But in any case, she trained, and then they decided to conduct control training, as a result of which they decided to entrust the relay race to her. She called me very joyful, saying that there is an opportunity to prove herself.

Dinara's mother is Belarusian, father is Kazakh. But when the future champion was 6 years old, her parents broke up and her father returned to Kazakhstan.

Dinara was born in Kazakhstan, when she was three years old, we moved to Belarus. My mother is from Belynichi district. It can be said that they returned to their historical homeland. Dinara considers only Belarus to be his homeland.

As a child, Dinara showed promise not only in sports and at some point faced a serious choice.

Everything was fine with her studies, she attended a music school in piano and went to dances (choreography). Dinara was noticed by the coaches, they invited her, they said that she was smart, according to all reports, she was suitable, they began to work with her. Maria Shipikova put her on skis. Her first biathlon coach Andrei Ivanov told me: “Irina Alexandrovna, I put her on rollerskis - and she immediately went, although I didn’t even explain to her. She's just a talent!"

For two years she combined her studies, music, and biathlon. The moment came when I had to choose one thing. I did not dare to give it to the sport, because they told me directly: "You will rarely see a child." We talked for a long time, the coach convinced me. Dinara herself wanted, repeated: “Mom, I really want to, I can’t do without biathlon! Trust me!". Mom believed, and her daughter thanked her with gold.

Dinara has a lot of joint photos with Russian biathlete Kirill Streltsov.

Mom of Irina Krivko: “When the house burned down, they were left without things and money”

For Irina Krivko, this season is extremely eventful. In December, the 26-year-old Belarusian climbed the World Cup podium for the first time, winning silver in the mass start. After that race, she was proposed. The biathlete's chosen one is the serviceman of our team Artem Leshchenko.

Irina became interested in biathlon in the city of Senno, Vitebsk region. Started practicing at the age of 11. Her friend, who was chosen by the coach at school, went to the ski section, and Irina went with her for company. Irina and her younger brother were raised by one mother, educator kindergarten. The family lived very modestly. Children activities professional sports helped to survive. When the house a private house Krivko burned down, the mother and children moved to the hostel. Now Krivko live in a separate apartment, not far from the ski stadium.

- How did you manage to raise two biathletes for the national team?

Yes, somehow it was possible, - Lyudmila Krivko said embarrassedly even after Irina's first success this season. My parents helped as much as they could. There was no one else. When Ira was 9 years old, and Vitya was 5, our house burned down. Left without things and money. We were given a place in the hostel. Lived in a hostel for 12 years.
