In Russia, the largest volunteer campaign in the history of the country starts on Wednesday - registration and acceptance of applications from those wishing to become volunteers at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2017 Confederations Cup begins. In total, about 5.5 thousand volunteers will be involved in the events of the Confederations Cup, and more than 15 thousand volunteers for the World Cup.

The 2018 World Cup matches will be held from June 14 to July 15 at 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don.
