Homemade donkeys for carp. Donkey equipment for crucian carp: how to make a catchy tackle. The easiest option

Carp, perhaps, is one of the most widespread varieties of fish. From it you can cook a huge number of delicious dishes. Carp can be fried and baked with the same success. Fresh fish is almost always in the assortment of any large store. However, going to the pond and getting your own dinner is much more exciting. Moreover, fishing has always been considered a kind of relaxant.

Enough a large number of those who like to sit with a fishing rod are used to catching fish using an ordinary float fishing rod. But there are other ways, for example, bottom fishing. It is designed for catching fish of almost any variety, in difficult conditions - at great depths or at some distance from the coast.

Those fishermen who managed to master the art of how to catch carp on the donka celebrate it high efficiency compared with float tackle. In any case, both the preparation and the fishing itself will bring a lot of pleasure and exciting moments.

Types of bottom gear

Currently, there are several varieties of donkey. The main ones are:

  • donka-gum;
  • captive;
  • donka with a fidel element;
  • donka with a feeder for spinning.

Feeder classification

Fishing with bottom tackle requires the use of a feeder. They can be divided into the following types:

It should be noted that with the help of bottom tackle, you can catch not only crucian carp, but also many other types of fish. Everything will depend on the type of equipment used.

Making a simple bottom tackle yourself

Crucian carp is not one of the fish that, at the slightest pull on the fishing line, throw their bait and run away from it. Therefore, there is absolutely nothing wrong with not having a sliding sinker. Fishing will be successful even when using the simplest donkey.

To make the most primitive bottom gear, you need:

  1. The line is about a quarter of a millimeter in diameter. An ordinary fishing line with a diameter of approximately 0.15 millimeters is perfect for a leash.
  2. As a replacement for a sliding sinker, you can safely use the simplest spoon weighing 30 grams.

After preparing all the starting materials, proceed to the process of making the donkey itself.

All is ready! You can go to the pond and try your luck.

Making a do-it-yourself donkey

For the manufacture of a hook type of bottom gear, you will need:

  1. The line is approximately 0.3 mm in diameter. Its length should not exceed 50 meters.
  2. You also need to stock up on a sinker. For the manufacture of a captive donk, both an end sinker and a sliding sinker are suitable.

The main factor that determines the sensitivity and strength of the donkey is the way the sinker is attached. If you opted for an end sinker, then it must be placed at the end of the fishing line.

In the case when the best option is a sliding sinker, then in order to make the right zakidny donka, its sliding along the surface of the fishing line should be limited. To do this, you can use two stoppers.

The main advantages of donka when catching crucian carp

Compared to other carp fishing gear, the bottom gear has many advantages. Here are some of the benefits to look out for Special attention:

  1. Bottom tackle, which is equipped with a fishing line more than 100 meters long, can be used for long-distance casting.
  2. Donka can be used on fairly deep water bodies.
  3. It can be used even in fast flowing waters.
  4. If it is necessary to control the process of catching fish, that is, crucian carp, you can use a variety of electronics as additional equipment.
  5. The crucian is baited and caught in a matter of minutes.

Donkey Restrictions

When using bottom gear, there are some important limitations to keep in mind that will help avoid unpleasant and common mistakes beginner anglers.

Firstly, you should not use bottom tackle in places with a bad bottom - if it is excessively flooded with snags, algae and stones. Fishing in such places will not work at all.

Secondly, the best water bodies where you can catch crucian carp and use the bottom device are places with sand, pebbles or silt. Here fishing will be successful.

Before you start fishing on the donk, you should decide on the choice of the best place on the coast. It is best if it is a place that can be easily cleaned of unnecessary items. This is extremely necessary for optimally correct installation of the fishing line.

It is better to use not one type of bait, but several at once. There are many options, for example, a worm, dough or maggot. After establishing the bait, donk for crucian must throw into the water. On the fishing line, you must first place a bell. He will notify that fishing has begun.

In anticipation of a bite, you can spend time usefully. To do this, moisten the bread with water and form small balls out of it. They can be used as bait. Throw bread crumbs to where the installed donk is located. This will immediately attract crucian and significantly increase the chance of a rich catch.

Thus, learning in all the subtleties of catching such a common fish as crucian carp using bottom gear, we can conclude that this is a very effective method getting a bountiful catch.

Such fishing lures even those crucian carp that live at the depth of reservoirs. Despite the widest range of bottom gear currently existing, fishing with any of its varieties is quite an exciting pastime.

Donka for crucian carp, in the most diverse design, the most common and popular tool amateur fishing. Along with the yellow-sided bream and brisk roach, the silver carp, which lives in rivers and rates, regardless of their size and location, is also considered the king of our reservoirs. This is the main reason why crucian fishing is very popular, and only carp hunting is able to compete with it.

Crucian carp is unpretentious, and is able to survive in the most difficult conditions, when there is very little water left in the reservoir, and it completely freezes. It multiplies rapidly, and therefore the carp populations are constantly increasing, even despite the large number of fishermen who prefer crucian fishing to all other types of fishing.

Even for those who are not an athlete fisherman or a great specialist in fishing, at right choice tackle and bait, it will not be difficult to catch silver or golden carp. This does not require expensive rods and equipment, so crucian fishing is rightfully called budget fishing.

No, well, of course, they catch this fish with expensive feeder gear, but even home-made bottom gear for crucian carp shows by no means the worst result. In this article, we will talk about how to make a do-it-yourself donk for crucian carp, what elements will be needed to make it, and what secrets will help you always have a good catch.

Benefits of bottom gear when fishing for crucian carp

The answer to the question - “why is it better to catch crucian carp with bottom gear”, because there are also float fishing rods, which also successfully catch this fish, “lie on the surface”. The fact is that this fish prefers to feed from the bottom and when fishing in the bottom layer, the chances of success increase significantly.

A float rod is limited in casting range, and large trophies still prefer to stay at a depth, in pits and near undercuts, so a donka is preferable and more effective.

In order for bait fishing to be successful, several conditions must be met:

  • high activity of fish;
  • the right choice of location;
  • well-connected tackle;
  • catchy bait;
  • attractive fixture.

It is clear that a certain result will be achieved for inactive fish, but lower than we would like, so best time for catching carp on the donka begins in the spring and ends late autumn. The choice of location, baits and baits is also important, but well-chosen and connected equipment plays a major role.

What types of donok are used for crucian carp

Crucian fishing is democratic and the following types of donok are used on it:

  1. equipment with wire springs;
  2. makushatniki, or "satellites";
  3. multi-hook rigs of the "Japanese" type;
  4. rubber donkeys;
  5. carp killers with small springs;
  6. donkey nipples;
  7. montages with classic method feeders;
  8. equipment with feeders flat method.

Constructions bottom rigs different from each other, but at the same time they solve the same tasks, namely:

  • attract fish to the fishing point at the bottom of the reservoir;
  • offer her an attractive bait;
  • provoke a bite;
  • calmly bring the trophy into the landing net.

Therefore, the basic requirements for crucian donk:

  • reliability;
  • stealth;
  • ease of use;
  • compactness;
  • durability.

Crucian fishing sometimes takes place in difficult conditions, and gear must work out at 100%. Now we often see such a picture on the shore of reservoirs, when the angler places at least a dozen rods, hoping to catch more fish. But in fact, one correctly made donk will be more catchy than three - four incomprehensibly related rigs.

So do not chase quantity, but make maximum demands on the quality of those bottom gear that will be used to catch crucian carp.

Another important point due to the fact that the choice of a specific mounting of the donkey depends on:

  1. type of reservoir;
  2. the presence of a current;
  3. fishing distances;
  4. nozzles used.

On reservoirs with a flow of the bottom, the elastic band is useless due to the shock absorber being pulled out by the flow of water. Yes, and flat-method feeders are not used in such conditions, since the bait will be washed out of the feeder in a few seconds, and the desired effect will not be achieved.

But the “crucian killer” or “makushatnik” show themselves perfectly in any conditions, as well as the “Japanese”, and, of course, the “nipple”, but which our grandfathers also caught.

Oh, and there are separate articles on the site, but we’ll tell you more about the classic crucian donk with a spring, the “Japanese” and the “nipple”, because these are budget equipment that provide excellent catches both on stagnant water bodies and on a river with a strong current .

Classic crucian donk with a spring

Donka with a spring is the most common tackle for catching bottom fish, including crucian carp.

Benefits of this gear:

  • ease of manufacture;
  • low cost of equipment elements;
  • the possibility of using on any type of reservoir with any bait and nozzles.

Donka with a spring is catchy both on the river and at the collective farm headquarters, quickly and easily knits, and expensive components are not needed for its manufacture, which is of great importance for many anglers. Not everyone can afford to purchase an elite feeder or carp rod, and for such a donkey, an ordinary “telescope” is suitable, which is easy to transport and operate.

The scheme for making donkeys for crucian carp with a feeder:

  • budget telescopic rod;
  • spinning reel 2500–3500;
  • main fishing line with a diameter of 0.20-0.30;
  • feeder spring;
  • leashes with hooks 6-10th number;
  • additional sinker, when fishing on the course.

The reel is selected depending on the conditions of fishing, or rather, even the casting distance. When fishing at a distance of up to 60 meters, reels with a 3000 spool are enough. The main line is monofilament, because when fishing with a cord, there are problems with tangling the base.

When fishing in the current, at a short distance, the line is taken thinner, because even trophy crucians rarely weigh more than 2-3 kg and a thick line only complicates fishing. Spring feeders are made independently, or bought in stores, because their cost is quite low.

Donkey leashes are knitted from braided line or monofilament, although the first option is preferable specifically for bottom fishing for crucian carp.

The fish approaches the feeder and begins to suck the bait out of it, and the hook with the nozzle is in close proximity and acts as an additional irritant. The bait needs to float freely in the water column, so a soft leader material or braided line is advantageous.

Hooks for crucian carp on the bottom should have a wide hook and a sharp, inward-curved sting, then they do not get dull on the stones at the bottom and instantly detect the fish. An additional load is used when fishing with a bottom on the river and its weight depends on the strength of the current, the main thing is that the spring with the bait remains in place.

Attention! Groundbait for bottom fishing with a spring should not be too dense and viscous. It should "dust" in the water column and attract even the laziest carp.

Donka nipple

Donka nipple has been used for catching crucian carp for many years, because it is a simple and catchy equipment that is not difficult to make with your own hands. The principle of operation of this gear is based on the feeding habits of crucian carp sucking bait from a feeder or cork.

For fishing on such tackle, plasticine-like baits are used:

  • hominy;
  • corn flour;
  • wheat flour with semolina.

A plastic bottle cap acts as a feeder, and the leashes are tied directly to this cork. The nipple is caught with a rod, or the tackle is thrown from the hand. When fishing without a rod, the pacifier line is wound on a wooden or plastic reel, and the equipment is compact and easy to transport.

To make a pacifier you will need:

  • plastic cork;
  • 3–5 leashes made of braided fishing line, 3–5 cm long;
  • lead in the form of a plate;
  • a piece of monofilament fishing line 50 cm with a diameter of 0.3 mm.

Before making the tooling, it is necessary to cut a circle from lead according to the shape and size of the cork and glue it to the bottom. If there is no waterproof glue, the lead is attached to the cork with a self-tapping screw, but the installation will be rougher.

Loading the cork is necessary for casting gear, and its weight depends on the presence and strength of the current in the reservoir. After casting, the equipment should lie in one place and wait for the fish to bite.

To make donkey nipples with your own hands, you need:

  1. in the side of the cork, with an awl, make holes for knitting leashes at an equal distance from each other;
  2. one more hole must be made for tying the fishing line;
  3. tie the fishing line to the cork, and at the other end make a loop to connect to the base;
    tie the leashes to the cork.

It remains only to tie the snap to the main fishing line, fill the cork with bait and put the nozzles on the hooks. It is best to use foam balls as a nozzle, then they will not peck small fish, and the hooks will float next to the cork. Some anglers generally fish with bare hooks, sticking them into the bait.

After the fish begins to absorb the bait, the hook or hooks fall into her mouth and are notched behind the lip. The tackle is called a nipple because the crucian sucks the dough in a cork and gets hooked. With the use of a rod, it is more convenient to catch on a nipple, but this is not necessary, because when fishing with a hand, the result will be no worse.

The frequency of recasting gear depends on the size of the cork, the consistency of the bait and the strength of the current in the reservoir.

Important! Only short leashes are used to catch the nipple on the donk, only in this case the crucian sucks them along with the bait and is caught.

Donka Japanese for carp fishing

If not only crucian carp, but also bream, roach and even carp are caught on a donk with a spring, then a Japanese donka is a purely crucian montage, especially catchy in late spring - early summer, after the fish spawn and "get sick". Japanese fish are caught actively moving around the reservoir in search of food.

Fishing with this bottom gear is especially effective in the evening and at night, although during the day it shows good result. main feature Japanese women in the used bait, which has the consistency of plasticine. The bait sticks around the spring, and the hooks are hidden inside the soft and tasty treat.

When fishing on a Japanese, nozzles are not used; in extreme cases, a foam ball is mounted on the central hook. The basis of the Japanese woman is a spring in the form of a pyramid, to the top of which leashes with hooks are tied.

It turns out that the leashes are in the middle of the spring, an asterisk is molded from the bait, and the hooks are hidden in the tops of this asterisk. The central leader is longer than the rest and after preparing the sprocket, it remains outside, floating on the foam next to the spring.

To make a Japanese woman, you need to buy the appropriate springs, or make them yourself, just like for a crucian killer, or for a standard tackle with a spring. The consistency of the bait is dense and sticky and the tackle is in the water, waiting for a bite for at least an hour, or even more.

When fishing for a Japanese, the bites are sharp and the fish is well detected with several hooks at once. It is difficult to miss such a bite and the angler has to make sure that the trophy fish does not drag the bait into the pond.

To make a Japanese donkey for crucian carp, you will need:

  • spring in the form of a pyramid with 5-7 leashes on a thread;
  • sliding lead sinker weighing 70–90 grams;
  • a piece of fishing line 50 cm, with a diameter of 0.25-0.3 mm.

Even if there are more than seven leashes on the purchased spring, it is better to cut off the extra ones, because they will only interfere with fishing. The choice of the weight of the lead sinker depends on the strength of the current and the casting distance of the tackle.

To make a Japanese donkey for crucian carp with your own hands, you need:

  1. tie a spring with leashes to a fishing line;
  2. thread a lead sinker onto a fishing line;
  3. tie a loop at the free end of the fishing line to connect to the base.

The Japanese is also knitted on the main fishing line, but in the event of a hook, a large section of the warp is lost, and in order to avoid this, we recommend knitting all our equipment on a piece of fishing line, and on the pond, mount them on the base using the loop-to-loop method.

Thus, convenience in transportation, quick installation of tackle and safety of the main fishing line are provided. When casting a Japanese after sculpting an asterisk, the sinker slides down to the spring and fixes the equipment on the bottom after hitting the bottom of the reservoir.

Sliding installation contributes to the fact that when crucian calmly sucks an asterisk, he does not feel the weight of the sinker and is not afraid. The spring lies freely on the bottom and any pull is immediately transferred to the signaling device, so that the fish is hooked in a timely manner. But even if the angler is distracted for some reason, self-setting will occur, which is also one of the important advantages of tackle.

The shape of the sinker does not play a decisive role, the main thing is that it “holds” the bottom well and prevents the rig from dragging along the bottom. Donka Japanese fish are caught in a reservoir with a clean bottom, since if there is vegetation, the spring will fall into the grass and it will be more difficult for carp to find it.

This is where the role of the aromatics of the bait, which attracts fish from long distances, increases. Crucian is a lover of corn and corn flour, and to increase the attractiveness of the bait, the flour is fried before cooking.

Snacks for crucian carp

The zakidushka got its name from the word to throw, and this term refers to the method of fishing rather than the design of the equipment. And the Japanese and the nipple and the spring are caught both with the help of a rod, and by throwing tackle from the hand, and this is all called a snack.

The advantages of the hook are that the main line is wound on a wooden or plastic reel and takes up very little space in the angler's bag. Arriving at the pond, all that remains is to attach the pre-tied rig to the main line and start fishing.

After the end of fishing, the process is repeated in reverse order and after 5–7 minutes all gear is rolled up and ready for transportation. The disadvantages of the hook, or rather, the lack of a rod blank, affects when manually playing a large fish, because the strong resistance of the trophy causes the main line to cut your hands when pulling out the equipment.

Yes, and using the landing net during manual fishing is inconvenient, so you have to play the fish with a partner. Although at the same time it must be admitted that trophy crucian carp, of those that offer strong resistance, still come across infrequently.

Long casts are also more convenient to perform with a long rod, although most often carp fishing takes place at close and medium distances. When fishing for snacks, a bell or some other mechanical signaling device is used as a bite signaling device, its functionality is quite enough to register a crucian bite.

Donka gum

Donka gum differs from other types of bottom tackle for crucian carp by the presence of a rubber shock absorber, which, due to its extensibility, pulls the equipped tackle to the fishing point. Up to a dozen hooks are knitted on such equipment, but there is no feeder with bait, so you have to feed manually or with a slingshot.

Fishing with a rubber band is effective on waters without a current, although it cannot be said that a large number of hooks significantly increase the size of the catches. It is easy to frighten off large fish in the process of tightening the tackle, and numerous hooks unmask the equipment. But it is very convenient for small carp to catch an elastic band on the bottom, even if you have to spend time baiting a dozen hooks.

A serious drawback of the gum donkey is that a boat is needed to bring in and pull out tackle. It is difficult to throw a rubber band standing on the shore from a hand over a long distance, and when pulling out the tackle at the end of fishing, shock absorber breaks often occur. In addition, when unwinding the equipment, numerous hooks cling to the grass and fish may come off.

Donka "satellite"

Donks "satellites", or tops are more effective when night fishing on crucian carp, because they use cubes of cake or pressed sunflower cake as bait. Such a bar dissolves in water for a long time and the dust that attracts fish is washed out of it.

It must be admitted that the crucian is very fond of and actively responds to makuha, and given that large fish come closer to the shore at night, one can hope to catch a real trophy.

"Sputnik" is also a rig without attachments, and this is its advantage, because the angler is always sure that the gear is in working order, the nozzle has not been washed away with water, and small fish have not pulled off, as happens when using a technotest or maggot. They also catch with a rod and with a hand, so this tackle is universal.

When catching carp, each angler chooses the tackle that is most convenient and effective. It is absolutely easy to tie a donkey with your own hands and its preparation for fishing takes very little time.

In his classical form donka on crucian carp is used extremely rarely. There are many reasons for this. Equipped with a heavy lead sinker with several leashes and a thick fishing line, this one is too rough for catching such a cautious, shy and picky fish as crucian carp. Even if a bite occurs, it is practically invisible, and this is fraught with constant gatherings of fish. As a result, you can sit on the shore all day and be left without a catch. That is why modified versions of this tackle are used to catch crucian carp.

So, on the donka? First, it is necessary to take into account the nature of the bottom of the reservoir. If it is muddy, then the bait should not lie. It is better that she hovered a few centimeters from the bottom. Carp boilies are very suitable for such fishing. Most often they are close to the composition of the main bait. In order to ensure the buoyancy of the boilie, experienced fishermen hang it from a hook by a thread. A very thin fishing line, often woven from several thin fibers, acts as a hair. It can be green, brown or black. If conducted on a pond with solid ground, then the boilie should not differ in any way from the lumps of the bait mixture: neither in composition, nor in smell, nor in color. Equipped in this way, a crucian donka does not need a feeder, but as necessary, you will have to change the bait, since it tends to swell.

But, of course, when it comes to catching crucian carp on the bottom gear, it most often means gear with a rubber shock absorber. She has one significant drawback. With its help, it is very difficult to catch on the current. But as a rule, it is carried out on calm water bodies, so this is not important here. Donka on crucian carp with a rubber shock absorber has many advantages. For example, even the most delicate bait can be used, it will not fly off during a strong cast, but will smoothly go into the water. Such tackle falls to the bottom absolutely silently, and there is no need to constantly throw it. The place can be easily baited at any distance, so a large number of hooks significantly expands the fishing area.

The main small disadvantage of using gum is its difficulty in disassembling and bringing it into combat readiness. By the way, careful bites of fish on this gear are also not very noticeable. That is why at present, many carp fishing enthusiasts do not use tackle with a rubber shock absorber, but a feeder. Such a donka for crucian carp is a rod equipped with a fishing line, a feeder-leash with hooks. If casts are made over a long distance when fishing, then it is better to use a braided line, and if close, then a monofilament. So the slightest bite is better noticeable. In general, answering the question of whether the carp is more sensitive and durable, we can recommend equipping it with a monofilament fishing line. So it will be better to absorb the jerks of the fish when playing it. A worm, maggot, bloodworm, black bread, dough are most often planted on the hook. The feeder is perhaps the most sensitive tackle, all even the slightest bites are visible very clearly. With it, you can catch a fair amount of large carp.

Now there is a huge number of different tackle for fishing and fishing equipment evolves every year. Donka is not far behind in improving overall performance, so fishing with it has become even more convenient and comfortable.

If you go to ponds full of fish, you can see a huge number of fishermen who use bottom tackle, which has already proven itself. With skillful disposal of the donkey, you can easily catch crucian carp.

Some people prefer to buy gear ready-made, but experienced fishermen do not mind making a donk. with my own hands, which allows you to make the most suitable bottom tackle, which is very useful for fishing.

Many men cannot imagine their life without fishing, and this can be easily understood. After all, this is an interesting and unusual pastime while living in the city.

People just want to take a break from the city and relax in nature, while a decent catch will be a kind of bonus, which can loudly say that the vacation was not in vain.

However, it is very difficult for beginner fishermen to decide on gear and bait.

After all, now there are so many of them that it is impossible to understand which ones are more suitable for each other and which ones should be paid more attention to.

When fishing for crucian carp, you should know the habits of the fish in order to be able to accurately pick up the bottom in order for the catch to be really successful.

But this is a real science, which experienced fishermen have been studying for years.

Features of the design of donkeys for crucian carp

Many fishermen who have been fishing not so long ago and not often prefer to simply buy traditional ones, since in order to make or pick up an individual donk for crucian carp, you need to have certain knowledge and skills that can only be acquired over many years of practice.

However, in order for the catch to be really successful, it is better to start understanding the bottoms for all types of fish, as this can greatly increase the number of fish caught.

In order to catch exactly crucian carp, you need to know some of the nuances that a good donk should perform for such a fish:

  1. The casting of the bait must be large enough. This allows you to catch fish that swim in the middle of the reservoir or that are rather suspicious of the bait.
  2. Deep fishing. The crucian rarely swims on the surface. Basically, this fish prefers to dive deeper into the water, so deep fishing is a direct necessity to catch it.
  3. Fishing during the current. Without this item, it is almost impossible to catch a crucian during the current, therefore, when designing a donkey, special attention should be paid to this.
  4. Bite control. There are several ways to control bite. This helps to make fishing easier and more productive.
  5. Catching and feeding.

The combination of these two aspects allows you to lure fish to the bait, which can be very useful when catching carp.

There are several types of donok and all of them are suitable for certain fishing under given conditions.

Simple donka for crucian carp

Such a donk usually consists of only a fishing line, a sinker and a hook with leashes (2-3 pcs.). This is a fairly simple design that you can easily do yourself.

Therefore, most beginner fishermen first learn to make just such a bottom tackle. However, there is a minus of such a donkey: it is quite difficult to throw it far enough.

Manufacturing

For the manufacture of such a donkey, all of the above constituent elements and a bite signaling device will be required.

Sometimes the rod is presented in the form of a peg driven into the shore, which does an excellent job with its role.

When choosing a fishing line, you need to pay special attention to its strength so that it does not break at the most crucial moment.

The length is chosen relative to the general conditions in which the fishing will take place.

Some fishermen constantly use the same, most convenient length for them.

When it comes to the sinker, you should choose the option of mounting it:

  1. Sliding;
  2. Deaf.

Weight is also selected individually and depends on the nature of fishing.

Donka with rubber shock absorber

Manufacturing

The coil can be selected individually, since for such a donkey it General characteristics are of no particular importance. In such a donk, the feeder will act as a sinker.

It is worth considering the number of leashes, the average number of which is 3. That is how many leashes will be the most convenient number, since they will be easy enough to manage and they will not get tangled with each other.

The hook for such a donkey must fit the bait, otherwise the whole structure will be useless. The rod is attached on the shore to a special functional stand, which greatly facilitates fishing.

Carp boilies

Crucian refers to such a fish that bites perfectly on boilies, which has long been noticed by fishermen.

Boilies work on a fairly simple technology. However, in order to install them correctly, certain skills and knowledge are required.

Carp boilies are not used without bait and therefore should lie next to them on the ground.

If the bottom is covered with silt, the best option would be floating boilies, which can provide more successful fishing in such conditions.

Boilies for crucian carp consist of a special porous material that allows them to easily float in the water.

Many fishermen use boilies when catching crucian carp, because it is such a nozzle that can improve the bite several times.

However, boilies cannot last forever and will need to be replaced in the future.

With the passage of time, they become heavier, absorbing water, and then completely fall to the bottom.

Some fishermen simply have a couple of boilies with them, so that in this case it is easy to replace a heavy nozzle, while others prefer to simply reconfigure their boilies to new conditions.

"Pacifier"

Such a tackle is considered the most useful, if necessary, to catch carp or carp. However, you can also use it for crucian carp, given the fact that catching this fish will not be as successful as the previous two.

Device:

  1. Donka-zakidushka (has leashes);
  2. Hooks;
  3. Cake.

Hooks are released as larger fish eat the cake.

Do-it-yourself donkey bait for crucian carp

Catching a crucian is not so difficult. After all, you can always make the bait yourself. If boilies are used, it should be taken into account that they must be nutritious enough to be able to attract fish that would like to feast on them.

In addition, bait can be constantly changed taking into account the current season, which allows you to improve fishing performance, thereby making it more productive.

There are several trends that should be observed for certain seasons:

  1. Winter. During this period, the best option is to provide the fish with as much protein as possible.
  2. Summer. Here, the fish reacts more to flour from grain crops.

If you take into account all the necessary nuances, then catching crucian carp will be most successful, and even a novice fisherman will be able to achieve some success in this matter.

As a rule, the correct selection of tackle and bait from fishermen is achieved by trial and error, as you can notice differences in the preferences of fish that live in different water bodies.

However, if you follow the basic tips, you can always easily figure out such a complex and interesting business as fishing, and achieve some success in this.

It is worth considering that the longer the fisherman is engaged in fishing, the faster he gains the necessary experience in such a matter.

How long have you had a really BIG CATCH?

When last time caught dozens of HEALTHY pikes / carps / breams?

We always want to get results from fishing - to catch not three perches, but ten kilogram pikes - this will be a catch! Each of us dreams of this, but not everyone knows how.

A good catch can be achieved (and we know this) thanks to good bait.

It can be prepared at home, you can buy it in fishing stores. But it is expensive in stores, and to prepare bait at home, you need to spend a lot of time, and, to be honest, homemade bait does not always work well.

Do you know that disappointment when you bought bait or cooked it at home, and caught three or four bass?

So maybe it's time to use a really working product, the effectiveness of which has been proven both scientifically and in practice on the rivers and ponds of Russia?

It gives the very result that we cannot achieve on our own, all the more, it is cheap, which distinguishes it from other means and there is no need to spend time on manufacturing - ordered, brought and go!

Of course, it is better to try once than to hear a thousand times. Especially now - the season! When ordering, this is a great bonus!

Learn more about bait!

Catching crucian on the donka in the nearest ponds and lakes, those that were not affected by the spring spawning ban- probably the most traditional pastime for law-abiding anglers.

Why not a feeder and a float rod? Everything is simple here.

float fly rod has a narrow range of uses. Not every body of water has the opportunity to deliver the bait to the fishing point with this tackle.

A pole rod or feeder, for all its effectiveness, is still gourmet tackle.

So it turns out that the old-fashioned way of "a worm on a hook, a bottom in the water" deservedly remains in service. Yes, there are many pluses:

  • Bottom tackle in cold water, unlike the classic float, it undoubtedly leads. The degree of water is still quite low, 5 - 7 ° C, and the fish prefers to move slowly in the bottom layers of the reservoir. Plus transparency "rolls over".

  • The general popular love for donks is due to the opportunity not to spend money on specialized rods, but to use what is available. Aluminum, carbon fiber, "glass" and "a la did it yourself" - everything will fit. On one of the fishing trips, I saw how one "maniac" (pictured below) managed to attach the twitching legend 702nd Bassmania to 16 grams. And not bad, I tell you, I dragged crucian.

  • After feeding the site, you can install 2 - 3 gear and, equipping them with bite signaling devices, enjoy the birds singing, the rays of the sun, and if necessary, quickly change the place of fishing.
  • Fishing usually takes place at a distance of 10 - 15 meters from the shore and the need for ultra-long casting disappears by itself. At such a distance, you can throw the bait with your hands and not coarsen the tackle with heavy loads and feeders.
  • In itself, carp fishing is very interesting. The crucian knows how to take out the brain with its “I want it - I don’t want it”. The tastier it is then.

How and from what to assemble a donkey for crucian carp

Bottom gear has undergone many changes in its history. There were installations of "yoke", "crucian killer", "elastic band", "cork", "nipple". However, the simple classic rigging scheme still works effectively today.

It is also worth noting that the specialization “for crucian carp” is somewhat arbitrary. Bream, perch and roach are often caught on such an installation.

To collect gear you will need:

  • Rod.
  • Preferably a spinning reel. The simplest Chinese one, such as Cobra, is quite suitable.
  • Monofilament fishing line with a diameter of 0.25 - 0.3 and 0.12 mm.
  • Hooks.
  • Sinkers or feeders.
  • Silicone stoppers.
  • Bite alarm.

Many anglers still make do with reels. Pins are driven into the ground and mood clings to them. Compactness is on top, but the inconvenience of using it on a far from ideal shore is obvious. It is better to buy cheap rods (plug-in or telescopic) with reels for these purposes. Comfortable and long enough.

The donkey scheme can be “deaf” and sliding. There are no particular advantages between them. For me, the fish bite perfectly on both rigs and it all depends on the angler's preference to tinker with the mood.

Sliding weight scheme

We put two stoppers on the main fishing line and a sinker between them.

A loop is knitted at the end.

On the Internet, there is an installation option when the loop is tied in bulk, then unevenly cut and a hook is tied to each of the resulting segments.

Maybe my hands don’t grow that way or somewhere the conditions are different, but with this scheme, constant overlaps follow. In the end, he didn't bother. I attach two leashes. One is at the end of the installation, the other is 15 centimeters higher than the upper stop. Overlapping has been reduced to a minimum.

The length of the leash varies from 5 - 6 cm to 40.

Diagram with end weight

For convenience, I knit in the sequence:

  1. A small loop "eight" to connect the leash.
  2. Slightly above the loop for the load.
  3. An additional leash is attached 20 cm above the first.

Instead of homemade lead “pencils”, small feeders can be attached to the installation. The size and weight is selected locally. I use 20-30 grams as much as possible. Enough to make a throw.

Is it worth feeding?

With bait, everything is not always easy. There is an opinion that catching carp without the use of all kinds of cereals does not bring results. It does happen, but there are always exceptions.

At least in the spring, now May, I try to manage only fragrant DIPs. Herds of small whitefish (fir trees, paths, breamers, perch) gather on the thrown bait balls to the fishing point, which push the carp away from the table.

It is optimal to attach a bunch to the hook and treat with an aerosol with the taste of garlic, anise. We cut the large "beast" into pieces of the right size. Nobody will pass by such an appetizing treat.

Worm secretions and attractants help the fish find the bait at the bottom faster.

It also makes sense to collect a "sandwich" with the addition of maggot.

When using a spiral type feeder, I prefer viscous complementary foods. In this form, it stays in the feeder longer and is not washed away by water, attracting fish directly to the bait.

It is also worth considering that crucian carp is finicky. Today he needs one taste, tomorrow another. Yes, and the intensity of the smell is picky. Before moving on to the help of an attractant, you should always offer him natural food.
