According to the results of the competition days, the American Aleksey Krasnozhon (209.37 points) has strengthened on the first line in the men's singles box office, the Russians Roman Savosin (196.20 points) and Yegor Rukhin (185.12 points) are in second and third place.
Among the girls, Russian figure skaters turned out to be the strongest. Alexandra Trusova took the first place (197.69 points). She is followed by Anastasia Gulyakova (181.43 points). Rounding out the top three is Japanese Riko Takino (174.16 points).

In the Ice Dance discipline, the Americans Christina Carreira/Anthony Ponomarenko (145.39 points) became the undisputed leaders. They were followed by Ksenia Konkina and Grigory Yakushev from Russia (139.80 points). The French duo Natasha Lagoge/Corentin Rayer was behind the Russians (129.90 points).
From September 6th to 9th, the next Grand Prix was hosted by the Latvian Riga. A lot of new and interesting things were brought to us by the stage in a beautiful European town.
Kazakhstani Nikita Manko took part in the men's rentals. Unfortunately, our guy could not enter the top ten of the best skaters, while gaining (132.75 points).
Japanese Mitsuki Sumoto (203.51 points) is in the first position, followed by Russian Makar Ignatov (196.88 points). The third was the American Tomoki Hivatashi (189.89 points).
Our figure skater Zhansaya Adykhanova performed among the girls (90.43 points). Alas, this result did not allow the girl to enter the top ten.
In the women's box office, the Russians are again on the first line. Daria Ponenkova scored 185.80 points. Follow her to standings Rika Kihira from Japan (180.46 points). The American Emmy Ma rounded out the top three (172.62 points).

At first, one of the favorites of the tournament, Japanese Wakaba Higuchi, and then Osmond, who eventually became third (215.16), could not get around her. Zagitova, having made the most difficult element, the combination of triple lutz - triple rittberger, made blots on the other two jumps, but 223.30 points scored in two programs, in the end, practically guaranteed her victory. The last speaker, Miyahara, did not create competition for the Russians.
"I feel good, I'm glad that the competition ended well for me, and I also feel relieved," Zagitova said. The athlete made blots on two jumps. "But these blots are insignificant, and on their own best jumps, so I am satisfied with these competitions. There are always blots and shortcomings, so every athlete answers this way. It may sound corny, but it's true," she added.
Sotskova, in turn, admitted that for the first time she was so worried at the Grand Prix Final.
“Actually, I was worried and quite strong,” said the skater. “I was worried for the first time at the Final. Usually I feel relaxed, I enjoy it, but here for some reason I was worried. there's a commotion."
Injury to Stolbova and Vera Morozova
In the tournament of sports couples short program the Germans Alena Savchenko and Bruno Massot won, and the Russians Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov settled right behind them. The winners of the Grand Prix Final last season in Marseilles Tarasova/Morozov made a marriage on a triple salchow and a cascade of sheepskin coats, and eventually became fifth (208.73).

The Grand Prix Final in Figure Skating 2017/2018 is the final tournament of the Figure Skating Grand Prix series. The final will take place for the fifth time in Japan and for the first time in Nagoya from December 7 to 10, 2017. Athletes will compete in the categories: male and female single skating, pair skating and ice dancing. At the same time, the final of the Grand Prix series among juniors in the same four disciplines will be held. In the finals, in each discipline, the six best seniors and juniors (singles or pairs) determined by the results of the series will be accepted.

- Russia;
- Japan;
- Canada;
- France;
- China.
12 skaters/pairs take part in each round. They will compete in four disciplines:
- men's single skating;
- dancing on Ice;
- women's single skating;
- pair skating.
Top 6 skaters/pairs who scored at the end of the stages the largest number points qualify for the final. They play championship medals.
Figure Skating Grand Prix Schedule 2017/2018
Viewers will be able to cheer for their favorites from October 20 to December 10, 2017. Here's what the competition calendar looks like:
- October 20 - 22: Rostelecom Cup (Russia, Moscow);
- October 27 - 29: "Skate Canada" (Canada, Regina);
- November 3 - 5: Cup of China (China, Beijing);

Couples
The duet Evgeny Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov has the best result. They took the 5th place... We have strong couples, so the fans have the right to look at the future competition with optimism.
Dance Sport
The duet Ekaterina Bobrova/Sergey Solovyov was not enough to get into the top three. Russian couple was only 4th. In this competitive category, our athletes are not very strong. But they can definitely compete for medals.
Men
Here the Russians are traditionally bad. Figure skaters from Russia did not even make it to the final five. It seems that there are at least a dime a dozen talented skaters: Kovtun, Akimov, Gachinsky ... But there is no worthy result. Isn't it time to shoot our guys?!
