Notes

An excerpt characterizing Krasnikov, Nikolai Olegovich

- Well, more, more! - incited the company commander, leaning forward and trying not to utter a single word incomprehensible to him. – Please, more often. What he?
Dolokhov did not answer the company commander; he was involved in a heated argument with a French grenadier. They talked, as they should have, about the campaign. The Frenchman argued, confusing the Austrians with the Russians, that the Russians had surrendered and fled from Ulm itself; Dolokhov argued that the Russians did not give up, but beat the French.
“Here they order to drive you away and drive you away,” Dolokhov said.
“Just try not to be taken away with all your Cossacks,” said the French grenadier.
The French spectators and listeners laughed.
- You will be forced to dance, as you danced under Suvorov (on vous fera danser [you will be forced to dance]), - said Dolokhov.
- Qu "est ce qu" il chante? [What is he singing there?] - said one Frenchman.
- De l "histoire ancienne, [ Ancient history,] - said another, guessing that it was about the previous wars. - L "Empereur va lui faire voir a votre Souvara, comme aux autres ... [The Emperor will show your Suvar, like others ...]
“Bonaparte…” began Dolokhov, but the Frenchman interrupted him.
- No Bonaparte. There is an emperor! Sacre nom… [Damn it…] he shouted angrily.
“Damn him to your emperor!”
And Dolokhov cursed in Russian, rudely, like a soldier, and, throwing up his gun, walked away.
"Let's go, Ivan Lukich," he said to the company commander.
“That’s how it is in the guardian style,” the soldiers in the chain began to speak. - Come on, Sidorov!
Sidorov winked and, turning to the French, began to babble incomprehensible words often, often:
“Kari, mala, tafa, safi, muder, kaska,” he muttered, trying to give expressive intonations to his voice.
- Go Go go! ha ha, ha, ha! Wow! Wow! - there was a roar of such healthy and cheerful laughter between the soldiers, involuntarily communicated to the French through the chain, that after that it seemed necessary to unload their guns, blow up the charges and disperse as soon as possible to everyone's homes.
But the guns remained loaded, the loopholes in the houses and fortifications looked forward just as menacingly, and just as before, the cannons turned against each other, removed from the limbers.

Having traveled the entire line of troops from the right to the left flank, Prince Andrei climbed the battery from which, according to the officer's headquarters, the entire field was visible. Here he got off his horse and stopped at the last of the four guns removed from the limbers. A sentry gunner walked ahead of the guns, stretched out in front of the officer, but at the sign made to him resumed his even, boring walk. Behind the guns were the limbers, still behind the hitching post and fires of the artillerymen. To the left, not far from the last gun, was a new wicker hut, from which animated officer voices were heard.
Indeed, from the battery, a view of almost the entire disposition of Russian troops and most of the enemy was opened. Directly opposite the battery, on the horizon of the opposite hillock, the village of Shengraben could be seen; to the left and to the right, in three places, among the smoke of their fires, masses of French troops could be distinguished, of which, obviously, most of them were in the village itself and behind the mountain. To the left of the village, in the smoke, it seemed that something like a battery, but with a simple eye it was impossible to see it well. Our right flank was located on a rather steep hill, which dominated the position of the French. Our infantry was stationed along it, and dragoons were visible at the very edge. In the center, where Tushin's battery was located, from which Prince Andrei examined the position, there was the most gentle and direct descent and ascent to the stream that separated us from Shengraben. To the left, our troops adjoined the forest, where the fires of our infantry chopping firewood smoked. The French line was wider than ours, and it was clear that the French could easily outflank us on both sides. Behind our position was a steep and deep ravine, along which it was difficult for artillery and cavalry to retreat. Prince Andrei, leaning on the cannon and taking out his wallet, drew for himself a plan for the disposition of the troops. In two places he made notes with a pencil, intending to communicate them to Bagration. He intended, firstly, to concentrate all the artillery in the center and, secondly, to transfer the cavalry back to the other side of the ravine. Prince Andrei, constantly being with the commander-in-chief, following the movements of the masses and general orders, and constantly occupied himself with historical descriptions of battles, and in this forthcoming business involuntarily considered the future course of hostilities only in in general terms. He imagined only the following kind of major accidents: “If the enemy leads an attack on the right flank,” he said to himself, “the Kiev grenadier and Podolsk chasseurs will have to hold their position until the reserves of the center approach them. In this case, the dragoons can hit the flank and knock them over. In the event of an attack on the center, we set up the central battery on this hill and, under its cover, pull the left flank and retreat to the ravine in echelons, ”he reasoned to himself ...
All the time that he was on the battery at the gun, he, as often happens, without ceasing, heard the sounds of the voices of the officers speaking in the booth, but did not understand a single word of what they said. Suddenly the sound of voices from the booth struck him with such an intimate tone that he involuntarily began to listen.
“No, my dear,” said a pleasant and seemingly familiar voice to Prince Andrei, “I say that if it were possible to know what would happen after death, then none of us would be afraid of death. So, dove.
Another, younger voice interrupted him:
“Yes, be afraid, don’t be afraid, it doesn’t matter, you won’t pass it.”
- You're still afraid! Eh, you learned people,” said a third courageous voice, interrupting both of them. - Then you, artillerymen, are very learned because you can bring everything with you, both vodka and snacks.
And the owner of the manly voice, apparently an infantry officer, laughed.
“But you’re still afraid,” continued the first familiar voice. You're afraid of the unknown, that's what. No matter how you say that the soul will go to heaven... after all, we know that there is no sky, but there is only one sphere.
Again the courageous voice interrupted the gunner.
“Well, treat yourself to your herbalist, Tushin,” he said.
“Ah, this is the same captain who stood at the sutler without boots,” thought Prince Andrei, recognizing with pleasure the pleasant philosophizing voice.
“You can get a herbalist,” said Tushin, “but still comprehend the future life ...
He did not agree. At this time, a whistle was heard in the air; closer, closer, faster and more audible, more audible and faster, and the core, as if not having finished everything that was needed, exploding spray with inhuman force, plopped into the ground not far from the booth. The earth seemed to gasp from a terrible blow.
At the same instant, little Tushin jumped out of the booth, first of all, with his pipe bitten on his side; his kind, intelligent face was somewhat pale. Behind him came the owner of a courageous voice, a dashing infantry officer, and ran to his company, buttoning up as he ran.

Prince Andrei stopped on horseback on the battery, looking at the smoke of the gun from which the cannonball flew out. His eyes darted across the vast expanse. He only saw that the hitherto motionless masses of the French were swaying, and that there really was a battery to the left. It hasn't blown smoke yet. Two French cavalry, probably adjutants, galloped up the mountain. Downhill, probably to strengthen the chain, a clearly visible small column of the enemy was moving. The smoke of the first shot had not yet dissipated, when another smoke and a shot appeared. The battle has begun. Prince Andrei turned his horse around and galloped back to Grunt to look for Prince Bagration. Behind him he heard the cannonade becoming more frequent and louder. Apparently, ours began to respond. Below, in the place where the parliamentarians were passing, rifle shots were heard.

Nikolai Krasnikov improves himself every year, with every victory. At the end of last season, he admitted that he no longer studies the track before the race, as he did a few years ago. Now he doesn't care what he rides, because a true master should drive equally well on any track, in any weather. The main criterion is not the track, but the opponents. Krasnikov's credo: always respect any opponent, consider no one weak, and perform with full dedication in every race. In last year's personal world championship, Nikolai Krasnikov won with the maximum possible number of points, winning all eight final stages. Winning eight stages for the championship, not even in a row, was not possible for anyone, even in those days when it consisted of 10 or 12 races. At the age of 11, he began to engage in motorsport. Probably thanks to his father, the son began to win world titles. It was his father who, having sold the car, bought him a Suzuki RM 125 motocross bike and a “soft” ice frame. From the age of 13, in the winter of 1998/99, he began to race on ice - on the lake. At the age of 15, he made his debut in official competitions, on February 18, 2000 he won his first victory, winning the semi-finals of the junior championship of Russia with 15 points. team championship of Russia, and a year later, on December 15, at the same stadium he made his debut as part of the Bashkortostan team of the Ufa SC named after. G. Kadyrov and won the first stage major league together with Sergei Kazakov and Ilya Drozdov. In the 2001/2002 season, this trio won the gold medals of the Russian champions, starting an uninterrupted winning streak for the Ufa club. Since then, life sports biography Nikolai Krasnikov are inextricably linked with Ufa and Bashkortostan. In the same 2002, at the age of 17, he won a silver medal at the European Championship. By the way, of all the titles that exist in motorcycle racing on ice, only the title of European champion is not in Krasnikov's rich sports collection. In the beginning, Vladimir Belonogov and Sergey Shutov played a huge role in its development. Subsequently, Belonogov, as a mechanic and coach, joined the Krasnikov team, which won nine out of 12 world champion gold medals. Another member of the team was the father - an honored worker physical education Republic of Bashkortostan Oleg Krasnikov. Since last year, his father has been Nikolai's coach and a running gear mechanic. The engine mechanic is Marat Kuyukov from Oktyabrsky, a former racing driver and then a mechanic for the Lukoil team.

The love of speed and sports for many people begins from childhood. At the same time, her parents instilled it in someone, and someone decided to follow the intended path himself. This is exactly what the handsome and imperturbable Krasnikov Nikolai is like. This is an eight-time world champion in high-speed motorcycle racing on ice, who has a great sense of humor and excellent physical data. We tried to find out more about this wonderful person.

Briefly about birth and childhood

Krasnikov Nikolai was born on February 4, 1985 in the family professional trainer on motocross. His hometown is Shadrinsk (located in the Kurgan region). It was here that our hero spent almost most of his youthful life. Here he graduated from high school and went in for sports.

School years and interesting cases from life

According to Nicholas himself, school years he was an incredible bully. Therefore, his parents quickly became regulars in the director's office. For the same reason, he had to repeatedly move from one educational institution into another.

One of the most memorable cases that Nikolai Krasnikov keeps in his memory from his school days was the situation with mopping. According to the story of the hero, because of his hooligan behavior, he was punished by the class teacher and left after school. As punishment, he was ordered to clean the classroom and mop the floor.

However, such a punishment offended Nikolai so much that he washed the floor with water from an aquarium in the classroom. True, this peculiar note of protest, although appreciated by the teacher, led to the death of innocent fish. But no one punished Nikolai for this gesture, and everyone reconciled with the loss of the fish for a long time.

Later, our hero was expelled from this school, because of which he was forced to move to another educational institution. This is how the future athlete and famous Russian racer Nikolai Krasnikov grew up. His biography is full of bright and funny events, many of which he happily discusses during personal interviews.

Dad's parting words and passion for sports

Since Krasnikov's father was a coach, from time to time he started a conversation with his son about sports. He was interested in what he would like to do and whether he would like to try himself in motorsport. At the same time, he decided to start with motocross. At that time, Nikolai was only 11 years old. Feeling his strength, our hero decided that he just wanted to devote his whole life to motorsport. Moreover, he felt the full support of his father and got along well with him as a coach.

Nice and very expensive surprise from dad

After his first steps in motocross, Krasnikov Nikolai easily switched to an ice motorcycle. It is noteworthy that for training on it, the father and son went to the local pond. When the water on it froze, you could ride as much as you like.

Despite the fact that Nikolai's family can't afford to buy an expensive bike, they still bought it. In the course went the money accumulated to buy a car. It was a generous and very useful gift that our hero will remember for the rest of his life.

First competition, participation and unconditional victory

The first competition, in which motorcycle racer Nikolai Krasnikov took part, started in 1998-1999. They were held in the athlete's hometown, so he did not have to travel far. And although the very first time, Nikolai did not manage to win, he managed to get as close to victory as possible.

In late 1999 and early 2000, Nikolai was invited to speak on behalf of a team called "Torpedo-SHAAZ". During the national championship, our hero managed to take an honorable 5th place.

New participation and victories

In 2001, Krasnikov Nikolai Olegovich continued to perform as part of the Torpedo-SHAAZ team. At the same time, he managed to take the honorable first place among juniors. However, a year later, the athlete had to change the team and join the Ufa organization "Bashkortostan".

For the first time, Nikolai won his prize-winning place in the individual competition in 2003. Immediately after this victory, he was allowed to compete in the individual world championship cycle, where he took eighth place.

Together with the members of their new team the motorcycle racer won nine phenomenal victories, six of which were won in a row (between 2004-2008). And during the personal championships of the country, Nikolai managed to get seven champion titles at once.

Other awards, achievements and records

Exactly one year later, the athlete managed to enter the top three, and since 2005 he has put personal record. Motorcycle racer Nikolai Krasnikov won eight victories in a row. And this is all in the individual world championship. And in the period between 2006 and 2009, our athlete was lucky enough to win almost all stages of the world championship without exception.

Simultaneously with participation in the individual championship, the motorcycle racer also participated in team championship peace. IN this case he played for the Russian national team. From these team competition Nikolai Olegovich brought with him wonderful trophies in the form of twelve gold medals.

Thoughts about leaving the sports Olympus

Despite all the existing achievements of Nikolai Olegovich, sooner or later he would still have to part with his sports career. For the first time, Krasnikov announced his intention to leave the radar of sports fans and critics in 2011. But after some time, he still did not fulfill his promise.

IN currently Nikolai also rides his motorbike, and also teaches children who want to repeat his path as an athlete. In the immediate plans of the hero - participation in the European team championship, where he plans to lead the race on ice.

Nikolai happily talks about his little son. According to him, closer to the age of four, he will definitely talk to him about sports. And of course, if he wants, he will help him develop all the necessary sports skills. However, according to the rider, this should be the decision of the child, and not his personal.

Few people know that in addition to the sports spirit, our hero has excellent acting talents. Some time ago, he even dreamed of playing a role in a play and is thinking of acting in films. But something went wrong with the athlete's vocal data. However, he still loves to sing karaoke, but only in a narrow circle of friends and acquaintances.

Nikolai, like a child, rejoices at the sports success of his students. For example, he was recently struck by Dmitry Koltakov, who continued the race even after a very serious fall.

Shadrinsk speedway - 50!

Nikolai Krasnikov: “Motorcyclists are simple people”

The name of Nikolai Krasnikov, Honored Master of Sports, 19-time world champion, the most titled pupil of the local ice speedway school, is probably known to every Shadrinsk citizen. Nikolai is the youngest champion in the history of speedway, having won this title at the age of 20. He is the leader in the number of world gold medals won and the leader in the total number of medals. Today the racer lives and works in Ufa, continuing to do what he loves. In the year of the 50th anniversary of the Shadrinsk speedway, on the eve of the final competitions of the personal championship of Russia in motorcycle racing on ice, we managed to talk with the famous fellow countryman by phone.

- Nikolai, what episodes from his sports life Do you often remember and never forget?

The brightest moment I consider my first victory in the semi-finals of the personal championship of Russia, which was held in my hometown of Shadrinsk. I was then only 15 years old. Titled athletes, world champions, masters of sports of international class, including the legendary Alexander Balashov, took part in these competitions. The victory that I won in the semi-finals inspired me a lot, and I will never forget those competitions.

Of course, I would like to do motorcycle racing a large number of kids. But, unfortunately, this is a rather expensive sport, which is why its development in our country is noticeably slowed down. Recently, many Russian clubs there is simply no money to purchase motor vehicles and maintain it in the right condition. As a result, some of them were not even able to take part in current championship Russia... Well, young people are still stubbornly striving to get behind the wheel of a motorcycle, the audience is still actively rooting for the racers at competitions, and the tournaments themselves are still bright and fun.

- What are you doing now?

The development of motorsport, in particular, by attracting investors to motorcycle racing on ice. I perform a little at competitions within the framework of the Russian Championship to support my team (Center technical types sports them. A. Kadyrov, Ufa). I try to think positively and I hope that everything will be fine with our motorsport.

- What are your plans for the future?

I plan to continue to develop domestic motorsport, to attract central channels to broadcast our competitions. And just play sports.

- Are you going to return to the speedway as a racer?

Professional sport is a closed page of my life. However, I continue to compete as an amateur. With great pleasure I will come to Shadrinsk next January to compete for the title of champion of Russia.

- Is sports glory hard?

Yes, there is no glory. We motorcyclists are simple people. This is a way of life that does not cause a "starry" state of mind.

- What is the strangest question journalists have asked you?

I have been asked more than once who I consider my main rival in certain competitions. This is a really weird question. After all, journalists expect to hear the name of some racer, but in fact the main rival for me is my emotions. That's what I'm fighting with them throughout my sports life.

- Your wishes to the participants of the championship.

I wish health, success in the New Year and, of course, excellent sports results to all participants of the personal championship of Russia in ice racing! In addition, I would like to congratulate all Shadrin residents on the 50th anniversary of the speedway, sport Club"Torpedo-SHAAZ", coaches, racers, mechanics, managers and employees of the stadium, as well as all those who took and take part in the development of this sport in Shadrinsk.
