Workout

Ski trails radiate from the adidas Skibase with distances of 2, 6.4 and 10 km. Groups of up to 20 people walk along them, led by cheerful trainers - there is an option for beginners, there is for those who regularly attended physical education classes in school years. All instructors come from the Russian Ski Federation or are professionals with the appropriate coaching certificates, who, unlike your physical education teacher, are distinguished by a sympathetic attitude towards their wards. The cost of classes is graduated depending on the size of the group and the qualifications of the athlete. Introductory training for beginners, which you can attend until you have mastered the basic principles, is free (up to 20 people in a group, duration - 1 hour), group costs 600 rubles (up to 12 people in a group, duration - 1.5 hours), mini-group - 1600 rubles per person (2-4 people, duration - 1.5 hours), individual - 2600 rubles (duration 1.5 hours).

“We set ourselves the task of reviving the cross-country skiing trend. In the USSR, it was a popular sport, and in Russia, the popularity of skiing subsided, because in schools they were forced to ride and generally taught this sport incorrectly to children, which discouraged many from any desire. There is a lot of talk about the need to come up with a new identity for Russia - not only in a tourist version with an accordion and bears, but also one that is suitable for the domestic market. And the fact that Russians themselves associate cross-country skiing with the Scandinavian countries seems to be an unfortunate mistake. It is clear that the relevant ministries and departments should correct the situation, but the opening of the adidas Skibase is a small and wildly important step along the way.
