Finger gymnastics complexes for preschool children. Part 1

Goal: Development of arm strength. Providing the child with a variety of tactile sensations.

Each complex consists of four types of exercises:

Exercise for a specific finger

Goal: To become familiar with the names of fingers.

Massage

Purpose: Has a general strengthening effect on the muscular system, increasing tone, elasticity and contractility of muscles.

Finger gymnastics

Purpose: Promote the formation of “speech” zones and have a positive effect on the child’s cerebral cortex.

Nursery rhymes (game).

Goal: Form and improve the sense of rhythm, create a favorable emotional background, thanks to which the child becomes interested in the game and performs all movements with interest, which provides good training for the fingers. The plot of nursery rhymes develops the ability to listen and understand. A certain rhythm teaches you to hear rhyme, place stress, and divide words into syllables.

With further complication, the complexes use games with objects that contribute to the formation of manual skills

Complex No. 1 “Friendly fingers”

1. EXERCISE – INTRODUCTION TO THE FINGERS “Five Little Brothers”:

Alternately straighten your fingers clenched into a fist in accordance with the text. Repeat on the other hand.

Five fingers on your hand

Call by name sumey.

First finger – lateral –

It's called big.

The second finger is a diligent pointer,

It’s not for nothing that it’s called the index finger.

Your third finger is right in the middle,

Therefore the middle one is given the name.

The fourth finger is called the ring finger,

He is clumsy and stubborn.

Just like in the family, the younger brother is the favorite.

It’s the fifth one – it’s called the little finger.

2. FINGER GYMNASTICS “Fingers say hello”:

The fingers of the right hand take turns “hello” with the fingers of the left, tapping each other with their tips.

Hello, golden sun!

Hello, blue sky!

Hello, free breeze!

Hello, little oak tree!

We live in the same region -

I greet you all!

3. FINGER GAME “Who is stronger?”:

Children stretch their arms forward and clench their fingers into fists as tightly as possible. Then relax your fingers and unclench them.

We bend our fingers together,

We clench our fists tightly.

One two three four five -

We begin to unbend.

Complex No. 2 “Helpers”

1. EXERCISE FOR THE THUMB:

Children clench their right (left) hand into a fist. Extend the thumb, bend and straighten it.

The finger was very surprised

How did he end up in charge?

We know well -

Because he's big!

2. EXERCISE FOR HAND MASSAGE “Washing handkerchiefs”:

Mom and daughter washed handkerchiefs

That's it, that's it.

(right hand into a fist, rub the left palm; then change hands)

Mom and daughter rinsed handkerchiefs

That's it, that's it.

(rub palms)

Mom and daughter wrung out handkerchiefs

That's it, that's it.

(with our right hand we “push up” our left hand, then vice versa)

Mom and daughter were drying handkerchiefs

That's it, that's it.

(shake off fingers)

3. FINGER GYMNASTICS:

“Table” (fold your left hand into a fist. Place the palm of your right hand on top of the fist. The elbow of your right hand is parallel to the floor. Change the position of your hands):

The table has four legs

The lid is like a palm on top.

“Chair” (put a fist with your thumb tucked to the bottom of the back of your left palm. Change the position of your hands):

Legs, back and seat –

Here is a chair for your surprise.

“Little men” (Both hands are fists, thumbs up - little men):

One two three four five

The little people went out for a walk.

4. FINGER GAME “We washed the dishes ourselves”:

Our hands were covered in soap.

(imitate hand washing)

We washed the dishes ourselves

(we imitate washing dishes - the right hand is in a fist, the left is open. Using the fist of the right hand, we “three” the palm of the left hand)

We washed the dishes ourselves -

(with the fist of the left hand, “three” the palm of the right hand)

Helped our mother!

(open palms away from you)

Complex No. 3 “Playing hide and seek”

1. EXERCISE FOR THE MIDDLE FINGER:

Children clench their right (left) hand into a fist. Extend the middle finger, bend and straighten it.

The middle finger arched its back -

How well it bends!

The middle finger is the longest

Only still small.

2. EXERCISE FOR HAND MASSAGE “Hide your hands”:

The lesson is conducted individually or with a group of children who take turns. Pour the cereal into a deep bowl. We hide our hands there, bury them deep in the rump, clench them into fists, move our fingers.

3. FINGER GYMNASTICS:

“Home” (palms parallel to each other, fingers pointing up, connect the fingertips of both hands to each other):

We will build a new house.

House with a porch and a window.

“Lock” (palms parallel to each other, fingers pointing up, cross the fingers of both hands):

There is a lock on the door.

Who couldn't open it?

We turned the lock

We twisted the lock

And they opened it!

“Snail” (put the fists of both hands on the table. Stick out your index finger and hide it back into the fist):

Hides in the house very quickly

A snail's own head.

(repeat with middle finger).

4. FINGER GAME “Hide and Seek”:

Fingers played hide and seek

And the heads were removed.

That's it, that's it.

And the heads were removed.

(bend and straighten fingers)

Complex No. 4 “In the Forest”

1. EXERCISE FOR THE INDEX FINGER

Point your finger Children clench their right hand into a fist

Hare, Extend the middle and index fingers.

A book, fold two open palms side by side.

The mouse and palms are applied to the top of the head.

Nut. They clench their fist.

The index finger knows everything best. Extend your index finger upward.

2. EXERCISES FOR HAND MASSAGE “The bear was walking to his home”:

Place one hand on the table, palm down, spread your fingers. With the other hand, use your index finger to press each nail in turn, move the finger, rolling it left and right on the pad. For each line, press one finger.

Once in a frosty winter

On the road in a straight line

The bear was walking towards his home.

His legs gave way,

And he fell on the road.

Other hand:

Now the bear is thinking:

“I ate my lunch poorly

And now I lie there without strength,

Because I have little strength

I saved up for the winter.”

3. FINGER GYMNASTICS:

1. “Trees” (raise both hands with palms facing you, fingers spread wide):

There is a tree in the field,

The wind moves the branches.

The wind blows in our faces

The tree swayed!

The first two lines are to swing your arms from side to side, for the last two - up and down, without bending your fingers.

3. “The bird is flying”

I. p.: place your hands in front of you (palms facing you, interlace your thumbs - this is the “head” of the bird. The remaining fingers are the “wings”. Wave them:

Small birds were flying across the sky.

4. “Nest”, “Chicks in the Nest”

Gather the fingers of the right hand into a “pinch” - these are “chicks”. With your left hand, grab your fingers from the side - this is a nest. Alternate the position of the hands:

Here are the chicks, and here is the nest,

All the chicks are warm in the nest.

4. NUMEROUS "Squirrel":

A squirrel sits on a cart

She sells nuts

To my little fox sister,

Sparrow, titmouse,

To the fat-fifted bear,

Bunny with a mustache.

The teacher and children, using their left hand, bend the fingers of their right hand in turn, starting with the thumb.

Complex No. 5 “Toys”

1. EXERCISE FOR THE RING FINGER:

Children place their right (left) hand on the table, palm up, bend and straighten their ring finger.

We'll put our hand on the table,

Let's turn the palm up.

Ring finger too

Wants to be no worse than everyone else.

2. EXERCISE FOR HAND MASSAGE “Find a toy”:

Pour cereal into a deep bowl, hide a toy there and invite the children to find it. You can hide several toys. Take them out, name them and remember the rhyme.

Beans were poured into the pot

And they hid the toys.

Now we reach with a pen

Funny little animals.

3. FINGER GYMNASTICS:

“Bunny” (fingers in a fist, extend the index and middle fingers and spread them apart):

Bear cubs, badgers,

Little frogs and raccoon

(bend your fingers one by one)

To the green meadow.

(use the index finger of your right hand to trace a circle on your left palm)

Come too, my friend.

(palms turned towards you, bend your fingers - call to you)

Finger gymnastics is an activity to improve fine motor skills in children. This process of complex finger exercises has a positive effect on brain development. This discovery was made by Chinese specialists back in the 2nd century BC. They argued that certain manipulations with the fingers help to achieve harmony in the relationship between the flesh and the mind and maintain the functionality of the brain system in excellent condition.

Fun to prevent your child's health

The Japanese doctor Namikoshi Tokujiro pointed out in his writings the presence of a large number of receptors in the fingers connected to the central nervous system, due to which the brain receives various impulses from the muscles. The motility of motor muscle activity contributes to the formation of the human psyche and intelligence. Finger gymnastics for kids is one of the forms of such development. This method helps stimulate brain activity, activating certain areas of the hemispheres responsible for hearing, speech, movement and psyche. The famous teacher V.A. Sukhomlinsky once said that a child’s mind is at his fingertips.

Okay - okay

We all know very well the children's finger gymnastics "Magpie - Crow", in which the mother, gently saying, carries out various manipulations with the palms of her baby, influencing their nerve receptors. Circular movements of the finger in the center of the palm stimulate the child's digestive organs. This motor training can confidently be classified as “finger gymnastics”, which actively develops the fine motor skills of a toddler’s hands. As a result, the little man's fingers become more flexible and agile. And besides this, speech improves, attention sharpens, reaction speed and creative abilities develop.

Health in children's hands

The palm and fingers can be called a small model of a child’s body. Finger gymnastics is used for the purpose of its health prevention. By doing acupressure daily, you have a positive effect on the biologically active areas of the nerve roots. It is known that each finger is responsible for the normal functioning of blood vessels and nerve endings of a certain organ:

  • little finger - for cardiac activity;
  • unnamed - for the nervous system and functionality of the genitourinary sphere;
  • middle finger - for stimulating liver activity;
  • index - for the function of the digestive tract;
  • thumb - for activating brain and pulmonary activity.

Children's neurologists argue that finger exercises for children should begin with the palms, in the center of which the reflex zone of the small intestine is located. Lightly press the center point of your baby's palm and, increasing circles in a spiral, smoothly move to the epicenter on the back side, thereby affecting the nerve endings of the large intestine. Such exercises need to be done slowly, but with slight pressure, in order to activate all the reflex points of the child’s body.

Example (all manipulations should be accompanied by light pressure on the fingertips):

Palm, palm,

Play with me a little.

We will be friends with you,

We will come to visit.

Press your finger on the epicenter point:

Tink, tinkle, dear,

Open the door for me quickly.

Exercises with a ball

Exercises with a ball are an effective way to relax and relieve tension in children's palms. This rubber toy with rounded spikes stimulates the child's psychomotor environment and engages his deep muscular constitution. Soft spikes are used to massage the head, feet and palms, increasing blood circulation and improving the functioning of the little person's nervous system. Finger gymnastics for children necessarily includes classes of this type. It is recommended that the baby periodically roll round objects in his palms.

Learning to speak and express our emotions

When visiting kindergarten for the first time, children experience a stressful situation: they cry a lot, miss their parents, and are completely unwilling to make contact with their peers and teachers. But some time passes, and the children gradually adapt to a clear daily routine, a new room, and relationships in the team. To convey their thoughts and mood to others, they begin to talk a lot. It’s especially funny to hear how the junior kindergarten group communicates with each other. Finger gymnastics, which takes place in the form of a play session, helps develop children’s speech. By performing small and precise movements with their fingers and toes, children develop fine motor skills. An exciting game for this age category is played by the teacher using fingers wearing knitted or sewn finger pads in the form of various characters. After watching the performance, the children try to repeat the actions, pronouncing each word after their leader. Thus, toddlers learn to express their emotions through conversation and imagination.

Example (the teacher turns the hand to the right and left):

Try to get to know us

There are exactly five of us on hand.

I am Tisha's index brother...

A humorous intonation appears:

I stand in the middle, and my name is Gavrilka...

Confident Speech:

I am nameless, but beautiful...

I am Ivashka. Small, but remote.

Professor M. M. Koltsova notes in her works: regular finger exercises have a huge impact on the functioning of the brain. Teachers and parents should understand that children with a high degree of development of fine motor skills have well-developed logical reasoning, memory, attention, and speech. Conversely, children with speech disorders, as well as deviations in the development of finger movements, experience general motor impairment. Therefore, in kindergartens, finger gymnastics for children has become a mandatory activity, in which children learn to pronounce words correctly and demonstrate their own emotions.

Children's pediatricians say with a smile that each baby's finger has its own name: mind; skill; dexterity; vision; reaction. And the more you work with them, the faster all these qualities will pass directly to their little owner. And finger gymnastics helps to acquire such skills. 2-3 years is the age when the baby begins to independently express himself in some activity. For example, he cuts and glues appliques without outside help; draws wonderful children's drawings; sculpts his first sculptures from plasticine; writes funny doodles. The more often tactile contact of a child’s fingers with foreign objects occurs, the more his skills develop.

How to develop a child's memory

Today, acupressure massage of the baby’s fingers and feet is very widely used. To prevent all sorts of functional disorders in the child’s body caused by insufficient mobility, leading to stagnation of blood circulation, it is necessary to give the child a preventive massage. The massage therapist influences reflex points, which, in turn, activate the brain. Finger gymnastics fulfills the same mission, but also develops excellent memory. Enter into a playful dialogue with your baby, show him the movements, clearly explaining why you are doing this, and he will undoubtedly be happy to repeat them after you.

We rub our palms (three palms pressed together actively),

We clap like a cat's eyes ( clap them rhythmically),

We rub our finger (stretch your thumb with force, because at its base there are points that stimulate brain function),

We're playing catch-up (we collect one handle into a fist, straighten the other, do it in turn),

Fuck it, and okay! (We show a figurine with one hand, raise the thumb of the other hand up; change one by one.)

Choose us quickly! ( We change the index and middle fingers on our hands opposite each other).

Hello, hello, smack and smack (put your palms together and cross your fingers),

The lesson has come to an end (press your palms together in different directions).

Now, until redness appears, we actively rub the ears, because there are points that stimulate brain development:

We rub our ears together,

We need to hear well.

Learning to hold a pencil

From early childhood, kids draw various scribbles and curved lines in the album, but they do it completely haphazardly, not knowing how to direct their hand to the right place. This prerequisite is nothing more than a psychophysiological need for self-expression through the ability to write and draw. The child confidently clutches a pencil in his fist and begins to draw with it in a chaotic manner across the sheet of paper. Finger gymnastics will help show and explain to a toddler in a more accessible and understandable language how to hold a pencil in his hand correctly. 3-4 years is the age when children want to quickly write down, draw, or color something. But for a reason - they want to do it like adults. But to do this, you must first find out how to handle a pencil, but perseverance and attention are not enough. Let's try to figure out this issue using a game form.

The teacher hands out a colored pencil to all the children. Holding her pencil in her hand, she speaks on his behalf:

I greet you, my young colleagues! It's me - Cheerful Pencil! I know that you love to draw, and you are great at it! However, many of you are holding me incorrectly, and therefore my sides hurt, my neck aches, and my body has become very heavy. I asked my brothers to help teach you how to use me correctly.

So, we took the pencil in our left hand. They placed it on the middle finger of the right hand, pressed it on top with the index finger, and supported it below with the thumb. See how simple it is! Now try to draw a line like this! Well done!

This game will help children understand how to use a pencil correctly.

Adults are required to pay special attention to the development of the little man's arms, hands and fingers so that he can learn to hold a pen, pencil and brush, and later draw and write. But how to concentrate children's attention? And again finger gymnastics comes to the rescue, which is an excellent training for developing the physical and mental skills of the baby. To prevent your child from getting tired, divide the 20-minute lesson into 4 parts and play similar games approximately every 5 minutes.

Example:

We drew and wrote

Fingers are completely tired ( work rhythmically and clearly with your fists),

Jump your fingers ( fingers "jumping" on the table),

Like little white bunnies ( Raise your index and middle fingers to the top, like ears, and straighten the rest).

Jump and jump, jump and jump,

Jumped onto the meadow (fingers “jump” on the table) .

The wind shakes the grass,

Left, right develops ( light movements of the arms and hands to the right to the left).

Bunnies are not afraid of the wind ( Swing your palms horizontally in front of you)

Having fun on the lawn (Clap their hands together).

Finger gymnastics for preschoolers involves a more serious approach in preparing for school. To do this, you need to purchase a notebook with a large square, in which the child will learn to draw sticks, draw circles and squares, and write the first letters in his life. Such classes actively develop the accuracy of hand movement, remove stiffness and tension in the hand. The child must be taught to write or draw without breaking the line, without lifting the pen or pencil from the paper. During breaks between lessons or after certain activities, you can play a game aimed at developing fine motor skills. The kids will really like it and will help them relax.

Draw a big line...

Place the thumb and middle finger together, move the thumb far to the side and move the middle finger towards it. And we do this 2 times.

Let's draw another line...

Repeat the same movements in the other direction.

And we draw circles,

Different, like little bells.

Use both pens and each finger to draw circles separately on the table.

And then we'll go for a walk...

Use your thumb and index finger to depict a gait.

Let's find different letters.

Click separately on each letter in the alphabet.

The element of imitation is an important aspect in a child’s life

One of the important ways of teaching and developing a child in preschool age is the element of imitation. Finger gymnastics in kindergarten helps to reveal the acting abilities of children with the help of puppet shows. Putting rag dolls on their fingers, children are immersed in a magical theatrical world in which fairy-tale characters come to life and speak their language. It is game situations of this type that stimulate the attention and memory of the little artist.

You can theatricalize any fairy tale, say, “Ryaba the Hen.” All movements, one after another, must be accompanied by words and rhythmic clapping. While performing these exercises, you need to actively involve all your fingers in turn in the gaming activity. A well-constructed activity will bring great joy to the child, and he will be happy to wait for the next invented story. This type of activity is also finger gymnastics. Whether the child is 3 or 5 years old does not matter, in this case there is no need to set age limits, the main thing is that the children really like such games.

Example (jump on your palm with two fingers):

A little hare was jumping across the field -

Bully, naughty girl.

Use your little finger to make circular movements on your palm:

The little fox-sister came running,

She wagged her tail and ran off into the forest.

The ring, middle and index fingers take turns tapping the palm:

The rain was knocking on the window,

Drip-drip-drip-drip.

And the kitten claws

Scratch-scratch, scratch-scratch.

One, two, three, four, five - let's start counting fingers

Children in preparatory classes in kindergarten begin to intensively prepare for the school year. Finger gymnastics for preschoolers is a wonderful find for quickly mastering the basics of simple mathematics. With the help of plots and all kinds of gestures, they begin to master numbers and figures, and end up with the category of comparison: higher, longer, further, etc. The famous psychologist Pyotr Yakovlevich Galperin in his works focuses the attention of preschool teachers on children who are unable to switch from counting on their fingers to the oral version. These guys have well-developed thinking, but the method of counting itself is not economical, so special attention needs to be paid to overcoming this obstacle.

Gymnastics example:

We wrote, we believed

Our fingers are tired.

One two three four five -

Make a fist and then quickly unclench it:

There are five fingers on my hand

Five grabbers, five holders.

To cut, to sew,

To write and to draw.

One two three four five!

Coordination of movements

Children enjoy playing not only active games, but also calm ones - where they need to calm down and focus their attention. There is such a game - “Do as I do.” In it, the teacher performs certain movements with his arms, hands and fingers to the music, and the children repeat in unison. Choose an interesting musical accompaniment, and you will have great finger gymnastics. 3 years is the age that can be called romantic. Children really like the images of animals, butterflies, wizards, rain, breeze, etc. Kids with great pleasure participate in games where their favorite characters are mentioned. They especially love play activities about the zoo. You need to put all the kids in a circle and say “We went to the zoo and saw...”, then think about it yourself. Getting involved in the gameplay, kids are happy to repeat all the movements after the teacher, using both hands.

There is a game that can safely be classified as “finger gymnastics”; many children in kindergarten know it well. It's called "Stroke Pussy." The player strokes his friend’s hand with the words “Kitty, kitty, kitty...”. He can repeat this movement as much as he wishes. And suddenly, unexpectedly, you need to slap your palm with the words “Shoot.” Such exercises well develop dexterity, coordination and speed of reaction.

We learn rhymes by playing

Children in kindergarten learn poems for performances at matinees. The classes “Finger gymnastics for 4 years old” actively help children remember them. If a child is learning a poem for his mother on March 8 in kindergarten, then for better perception and memorization the teacher can work out with him certain movements for each line.

For example:

While pronouncing the first two lines, you need to clap, pressing your palms together and changing their location. Right palm down, then up.

I bake, bake, bake,

The kids all have a pie.

After clapping, open your palms, pointing to your mother.

And for dear mother,

Clap with straight palms: first over the right shoulder, then over the left.

I'll bake two gingerbread cookies.

Rub your palms together.

Eat, eat mommy,

Sweet two gingerbread cookies.

When learning words with your child, you should show him how to read correctly, and then pronounce the words with him. Already the fourth or fifth time, the baby will remember the lines and movements and will do everything independently. Finger gymnastics in verse activates the child’s memory, has a positive effect on the development of children’s speech, and quickly switches the child’s attention, distracting him from extraneous things.

Finger gymnastics

We left out a very interesting age. We are talking about two year olds. Finger gymnastics for 2 years old involves intensive work with fine motor skills of the hands. At this time, the child begins to clap his hands and react violently to the words “The horned goat has come,” tries to sculpt and draw, cut out, glue, play with cubes, and assemble a mosaic. He is learning to use his hands, plays age-related games, loves to throw a ball and bump it into something, and also knows how to open and close markers and jar lids. And for more confident and coordinated movements, the little one needs to be given the opportunity to perform actions on his own that direct him to overcome obstacles.

You teach your baby to tie shoelaces, fasten sandals, and untie knots. So that your child can better understand how to perform the action, show, sentence, and let the child repeat all the actions after you:

We take one lace,

Take the second lace.

One is above, the other is below,

Let's tie a knot.

There is another useful game “Fisherman and the Fishes” (by the way, it is sold in every store). Pour water into a basin, drop plastic sea creatures into it and, using a fishing rod with a magnet at the end, your child should catch the toys. This play activity promotes the development of fine motor skills, plus the fishing rod massages the baby’s palm, affecting the nerve endings.

Make a list of gaming activities

For kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers, it is very important to have a list of games used when preparing for the next lesson. To do this, you need a systematized card index of finger gymnastics, in which the main elements of game moments, distributed according to lexical topics, should be clearly stated. The list of classes includes game titles, set goals, brief descriptions, and tasks developed in accordance with Federal State Requirements (FGT) for educational areas. And the thematic documentation is designed so that teachers of preschool and primary school education can easily navigate it while filling out their cards.

Finger gymnastics is not only fun for a child, but also a great support for an adult. It helps the child develop good coordination of movements, intensify the development of speech skills, stimulate memory, and concentrate attention. In order to see specific results, you need to perform exercises for your palms and fingers with a time interval of 5 to 8 minutes.

Remember! You cannot force a child to do something he does not want, so be patient and prepare properly for the lesson.

The development of a child's brain begins in utero and continues actively after birth. How parents can contribute to this process, what are the benefits of kinesiological exercises and how it is carried out for 5, 6 years, read on.

You will also see kinesiological exercises in pictures and learn how to correctly perform finger exercises with children 5, 6 and 7 years old. Kinesiological gymnastics is an important stage in preparing children for school.

How finger exercises affect brain development

Right hemisphere of the brain- humanitarian, imaginative, creative - responsible for the body, coordination of movements, spatial visual and kinesthetic perception.

Left hemisphere of the brain- mathematical, symbolic, speech, logical, analytical - responsible for the perception of auditory information, setting goals and constructing programs. The unity of the brain consists of the activity of two hemispheres, closely interconnected by a system of nerve fibers (corpus callosum).

Corpus callosum(interhemispheric connections) is located between the hemispheres of the brain in the parietal-occipital part and consists of two hundred million nerve fibers. It is necessary to coordinate the work of the brain and transmit information from one hemisphere to the other.

Violation of the corpus callosum distorts the cognitive activity of children. If conduction through the corpus callosum is disrupted, the leading hemisphere takes on a greater load, and the other is blocked. Both hemispheres begin to work without communication. Spatial orientation, adequate emotional response, coordination of visual and auditory perception with the work of the writing hand are impaired. A child in this state cannot read and write, perceiving information by ear or eyes.

To develop interhemispheric interaction, it is necessary to regularly perform kinesiological exercises.

Why do you need finger gymnastics for children 5, 6, 7 years old?

A significant part of the cerebral cortex of the human brain is occupied by cells associated with the activities of the hand, especially the thumb, which in humans is opposed to all other fingers.

When preparing children for school, great attention must be paid to the development of the corpus callosum.

The main development of interhemispheric connections is formed in girls up to 7 years old and in boys up to 8 - 8.5 years old.

Improving intellectual and thinking processes must begin with the development of finger and body movements. Developmental work should be directed from movements to thinking, and not vice versa.

For the successful learning and development of a child at school, one of the main conditions is the full development of the corpus callosum in preschool childhood. The corpus callosum (interhemispheric interaction) can be developed through kinesiological exercises.

What are the benefits of kinesiology exercises for children?

Kinesiology is the science of brain development through movement. It has been around for two hundred years and is used all over the world.

Kinesiological exercise is a set of movements that allow you to activate interhemispheric effects. Kinesiological movements were used by Hippocrates and Aristotle.

Kinesiological exercises develop the corpus callosum, increase stress resistance, synchronize the work of the hemispheres, improve mental activity, help improve memory and attention, and facilitate the process of reading and writing.

Finger kinesiological exercises can be used to develop hand muscles and develop interhemispheric interaction of the child’s cerebral cortex.

Thanks to motor exercises for the fingers, the left hemisphere is compensated and the interhemispheric influence is activated, which contributes to children's resistance to stress and prepares children for school.

How to perform kinesiology exercises correctly

Exercises must be done daily. From an early age, children are taught to perform finger games from simple to complex. After children have learned to perform finger games from the age of five, we give a set of finger kinesiological exercises, consisting of three hand positions successively replacing each other. The child performs together with an adult, then independently from memory.

The exercise is performed first with the right hand, then with the left, then with both hands together.

In case of difficulties, the adult invites the child to help himself with commands (“goose-hen-rooster”), pronounced out loud or silently.

Initial position. Both palms are placed on the edge and connected by a “bucket”, the thumbs are raised up - this is a pipe.

The steamboat floats along the river, And the chimney smokes like a stove.

Gymnastics for fingers exercise - Flashlights

Varian 1. Initial position. Place your palms in front of you, straightening and spreading your fingers. Clench and unclench the fingers on both hands at the same time, accompanying the movements with appropriate phrases.

The lanterns are lit! The flashlights have gone out!

(straighten your fingers) (clench your fingers)

The second version of gymnastics for fingers exercise - Flashlights

Option 2. (complicated)

Alternately clench and unclench your fingers for a count of one or two. At one time, the fingers of the right hand are straightened, the fingers of the left hand are clenched. On two: the fingers of the left hand are straightened, the fingers of the right hand are clenched. Perform the exercise slowly at first, then speed up the pace. The exercise can be performed first by counting, and then by accompanying the movements with rhythmically spoken lines:

We'll light the lanterns

And then let's go for a walk!

Here the lanterns are shining,

Baking pancakes

Option 1. Alternately touch the surface of the table with the back of your hand and palm.

Mom bakes pancakes for us

We got up early today

Option 2. A) the left hand touches the table with the palm, the right hand with the back: B) change of position. Now the left hand touches the table with the back, the right hand with the palm. The exercise can be performed on a one-two count or accompanying the movements with verses (see option 1)

Gymnastics for fingers exercise –Checkboxes

Initial position. Place your palms in front of you. Simultaneously lower and raise your palms, accompanying the movements with poetry. If the child easily performs this exercise, you can suggest lowering and raising your palms without bending your fingers. I hold flags in my handsAnd I wave to all the guys! Option 2 (complicated). Alternately change the position of your hands to count: “one-two.” “One”: the left hand is straightened, raised up, the right hand is lowered down. “Two”: the left hand is lowered down, the right hand is raised up.

Gymnastics for fingers exercise –Wash your hands

“Washing your hands”: rhythmically rub your palms, imitating washing your hands.

Let's always be clean!

“We wash the water from our hands”; fingers clenched into a fist, then forcefully straighten your fingers, as if shaking off some water.

Splash to the right, splash to the left!

Our body became wet!

“Wipe your hands”: vigorous movements simulate wiping each hand in turn with a towel.

We wipe our hands very quickly.

Development of fine motor skills or gymnastics for fingers

Fine motor skills are fine movements of the hand. In adults, it reaches varying degrees of development: depending on the profession, training, etc. This is very important for a child, since it affects the pace of his mental development and even the formation of speech in children.

Exercises for developing hand motor skills

During morning exercises, do not forget about your fingers. Knead and stroke them: start movements with them during the massage.

Do finger exercises while reciting children's poems.

Reading a verse - Bend and straighten your child's fingers.

This finger is grandpa
This finger is grandma
This finger is daddy
This finger is mommy
And this finger is me
That's my whole family!

When reciting these verses, you can bend your fingers in different ways: start from the little finger, then from the thumb; alternately - sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right hand.

Show your child how your fingers say hello. On one handle: the tip of the thumb alternately touches the index, middle, ring and little fingers; on both handles: the spread fingers of the left and right handles touch each other.

Show your child how the fingers “run” like a little man, alternately moving the index and middle fingers of the left and right hands along the surface of the table.

You can teach your child to make various figures out of fingers. To develop all the fingers, you can swing plasticine balls or any other balls from what is in the arsenal of toys, make pyramids, transfer pencils, matches, buttons from one pile to another.

Magpie Crow

Well, the famous folk “Magpie” - “crow” your grandmother will probably remind you of. Take the baby's left hand, turn it with your palm towards you and start stroking it - round - index finger of the right hand. Then, one by one, starting from the little finger, bend all the fingers on your hand, saying:

Magpie Crow,
She was sitting on the stove,
I cooked porridge for the children.
I'll give this, I'll give this,
I'll give this and I'll give this,
But I won’t give it to this!
He didn't carry wood
I didn't knead the dough
I didn’t light the stove
I didn’t take the kids for walks -
A real couch potato!

Teach your child to string rings on pegs, and when he learns to do this, you can teach her to count, name colors, and compare large and small rings. With the help of classic cubes you can build a tower, a house and anything that your imagination is “generous” about or the kid himself can come up with. Don't forget to praise him at the same time.

Spoon for dinner

Independent Using a spoon while eating also stimulates fine motor skills, and as soon as the baby can hold a pencil in his hands, you can learn to draw together. Don't be angry if at first, instead of making targeted movements on a piece of paper, your baby taps it with a pencil. Allow him to enjoy this process, and then together begin to draw various lines. Multi-colored chalk or wax pencils with thick and soft cores will help you stimulate your child’s interest in drawing.

You can just paint with your fingers (there are such paints for babies), the only important thing is that all this does not end up in the baby’s mouth even before you manage to draw something with him.

The material for creativity can be sand in the yard, dough prepared for pies, or milk porridge, which the child will decorate with various fruits before eating it. One word, improvise together without being distracted from household chores! Few kids can resist the temptation to draw something on the walls of the room.

Gradually, the hands will become more mobile and flexible, which in the future will make it easier to master writing and language skills, and at the same time the child’s creative thinking will develop.

Finger exercises (or finger exercises) – songs, nursery rhymes

THIS GUY WANTS TO SLEEP
This finger wants to sleep
This finger took a nap
This finger has already fallen asleep.
Hush, little finger, don't make noise,
Don't wake up your brothers...
Fingers stood up, hurray!
It's time to go to kindergarten

HIDE AND HIDE Fingers played hide and seek

And the heads were removed
Like this, like this
And the heads were removed.

CABBAGE
We chop and chop cabbage,
We salt and salt the cabbage,
We three or three cabbage,
We press and press cabbage.

WE MET
Two puppies: “Aw-aw!”
Two foals: “Igo-go!”
Two tiger cubs: “Rrr!”
Two bulls: “Moo!”
Look at the horns.

ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE
One two three four five,
Let's count fingers!
Strong, friendly,
Everyone is so necessary.
On the other hand again:
One two three four five!
Fingers are fast
Although not very... clean.

FIVE KIDS
One baby is swinging in the garden,
Two kids swimming in a pond

It’s clear to me where they’re hiding,
But I closed my eyes and said:
"One two Three…
Two three four five…

- Cover your eyes with your palms
- Close your eyes with your palm

WALK
Let's go for a walk, fingers
And the second is to catch up.
Third fingers - run,
And the fourth walk.

(The palms are closed and slightly rounded. We perform a “diving” movement with them.)
And the fish said: “It’s easy to dive here!”

The second said: “It’s deep here.”

And the third said: “I feel sleepy!”

And the fifth shouted: “There’s a crocodile here!”

Swim away from here so you don’t swallow it!”

A very good set of exercises, you can take note!

Sources:

Exercises for fingers develop fine motor skills very well, stimulate the child’s speech activity; it has been noticed that children with poorly developed speech often have poorly coordinated finger movements. This gymnastics also prepares the child for writing and drawing.
Exercises are best done together with your child - you show and the child repeats...

Here I will give a few examples of finger gymnastics:

THIS GUY WANTS TO SLEEP This finger wants to sleep

This finger is a jump on the bed!
This finger took a nap
This finger has already fallen asleep.
Hush, little finger, don't make noise,
Don't wake up your brothers...
Fingers stood up, hurray!
It's time to go to kindergarten

The left palm is turned towards the child and, in accordance with the text, he bends his fingers with his right hand, starting with the little finger. Then, turning to the thumb, he straightens all the fingers.
HIDE AND HIDE Fingers played hide and seek

And the heads were removed
Like this, like this
And the heads were removed.

We rhythmically bend and straighten our fingers. You can complicate the task - alternately bend each finger on both handsCABBAGE We chop and chop cabbage,

We salt and salt the cabbage,
We three or three cabbage,
We press and press cabbage.

- movements with straight palms up and down,
- alternately stroking the fingertips,
- rub fist against fist,
- clench and unclench your fists
WE MET Two kittens met: “Meow-meow!”

Two puppies: “Aw-aw!”
Two foals: “Igo-go!”
Two tiger cubs: “Rrr!”
Two bulls: “Moo!”
Look at the horns.

- For each line, alternately connect the fingers of the right and left hands, starting with the little finger.
- On the last line, show the horns, extending your index fingers and little fingers.
ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE One two three four five,

- On the first line - bend the fingers on your right hand one by one.
- For the next four lines, rhythmically clench and unclench your fists.
- On the sixth line - bend the fingers on your left hand one by one.
- For the last lines, wave the fingers of both hands.
FIVE KIDS One baby is swinging in the garden,

Two kids swimming in a pond
Three kids are crawling towards the doors in the apartment,
And four more are knocking on this door.
Five others are also fine:
They are having fun, playing hide and seek.
It’s clear to me where they’re hiding,
But I closed my eyes and said:
"One two Three…
Two three four five…
Well, beware: I’m coming to look!”

- Show index finger (up), lower down, swing back and forth
- Show two fingers, use your hands to imitate a swimmer
- Show three fingers, imitate crawling
- Knock with your right hand in the palm of your left, show four fingers
- Palm with fingers spread
- Cover your eyes with your palms
- Hands clasped, thumbs outward – “nose”, fingers of one hand – up (like needles)
- Close your eyes with your palm
- Extend your fingers one by one
- Wag your finger, imitate movements as if we are catching someone
WALK Let's go for a walk, fingers

And the second is to catch up.
Third fingers - run,
And the fourth walk.
The fifth finger jumped
And at the end of the road he fell.

- The fingers of both hands are clenched into fists,
- On the first line - the thumbs move as if in jumps across the table.
- The index fingers move to the second line on the table,
- On the third - moving the middle fingers along the table at a fast pace,
- On the fourth - slow movement of the ring fingers along the surface of the table, - - On the fifth - little fingers,
- On the sixth - clap both fists on the surface of the table.

Finger gymnastics in verse and finger games not only affect the development of speech, but their beauty is also that they instantly switch the baby’s attention from whims or nervousness to bodily sensations - and calm them down. This is a great activity when the child has nothing else to do (for example, on the road or in line).

The influence of manual (manual) actions on the development of the human brain was known back in the 2nd century BC in China.

Experts argued that games involving hands and fingers, such as our “White-sided Magpie,” help to find harmony in the body-mind tandem and keep the brain systems in excellent condition. Based on similar reasoning, the Japanese doctor Namikoshi Tokujiro created a healing technique for influencing the hands. He argued that fingers are endowed with a large number of receptors that send impulses to the human central nervous system. There are many acupuncture points on the hands, by massaging which you can influence the internal organs reflexively associated with them. In terms of saturation of acupuncture zones, the hand is not inferior to the ear and foot. For example, massaging the thumb increases the functional activity of the brain; the index finger has a positive effect on the stomach, the middle finger has a positive effect on the intestines, the ring finger has a positive effect on the liver and kidneys, and the little finger has a positive effect on the heart. And if you also diversify finger gymnastics with FINGER THEATER, then this will give you a lot of positive emotions!

Simple rules of the game

1. Try to involve all fingers in the games (especially the ring and little fingers - they are the laziest).
2. Be sure to alternate three types of movements:
compression;
stretching;
relaxation.

How else to activate your fingers

1. Give a newspaper, sheets of paper - let him vomit (just be careful not to put these “bites” in his mouth).
2. Thread large buttons onto a strong thread and let them sort through them.
3. Give wooden beads, abacus, pyramids.
4. Draw faces on the plastic plugs and place them on your fingers. You will get a finger theater.

This is only a small fraction of the games and activities that can captivate a child and spend time usefully.

Introduction

Development of fine motor skills in preschool children

Currently, educators are faced with the problem of developing the speech of young children. A delay in speech development complicates the organization of children's lives in a group. Poor development of fine motor skills does not allow organizing a variety of play activities. Children cannot cope even with the simplest game tasks: “Build a house from cubes”, “Assemble a tower from rings”, “Feed a doll”.

Speech development is the main indicator of children's development and the main condition for the success of organizing a variety of children's activities. Any program involves working with children with normal speech and movement development. Analyzing the current situation, I came to the conclusion that one of the reasons for children’s developmental lag is that at a young age they have little or no experience of communicating with the “correct”, necessary toys.

Many parents do not attach importance to the development of children’s movements and do not know that finger exercises are a good stimulus not only for the emergence of speech, but also for its further improvement.

The talent of our folk pedagogy created the games “Ladushki”, “Magpie - Belobok”, “Goat - Horned” and others. Their meaning is still not sufficiently understood by adults. Many see them as entertainment rather than developmental.

Most of the motor cortex of the cerebral hemispheres is involved in the muscular movements of the larynx, tongue, mouth, and jaw. It is these organs that form speech. Exercises based on the movements of the tongue and jaw stimulate the frontal lobe of the brain, which controls thinking, speech and behavior.

It is known: fine motor skills of the hands are associated with the development of the left temporal and left frontal areas of the brain, which are responsible for the formation of many complex mental functions. V.A. Sukhomlinsky rightly stated: “The child’s mind is at his fingertips.”

Research by Russian physiologists confirms the connection between hand development and brain development. MM. Koltsova came to the conclusion that the formation of speech areas occurs under the influence of kinesthetic impulses from the hand, or more precisely from the fingers. L.V. Fomina, based on examinations of a large number of children, identified the following pattern: if the development of finger movements corresponds to age, then speech development is within normal limits. If the development of fingers lags behind, then speech development is also delayed, although general motor skills may be normal and even higher than normal.

The development of fine motor skills in children as one of the means of speech development has been proposed for a long time. Having studied publications on the development of fine motor skills in working with preschoolers, I found out that all recommendations suggest including them more often in the pedagogical process.

Therefore, in my work I use: games with fingers, games with small objects, games with speech accompaniment.

By increasing the level of development of fine motor skills in the hands of preschoolers - one of the indicators of intellectual readiness for schooling - we contribute to the development of attention, memory, coherent speech, readiness of the hand for writing, and the ability to reason logically

Games and exercises, finger exercises, carried out systematically from a very early age, help children confidently hold a pencil, pen, and promote the development of attention, thinking, and speech.

A huge, if not the leading role in fulfilling this task belongs to home training - after all, the formation of this skill is determined by many factors, including those that affect the child outside the walls of kindergartens and training centers. In addition, the success of work on developing this skill depends on its systematicity, and this condition can only be met through the interaction of the preschool institution and the child’s parents

Working on the development of fine motor skills in children with speech impairments, I achieved certain results. According to my observations, the coordination of the articulatory apparatus in children has improved, the time required to produce sounds has noticeably decreased, and the overall coordination of children’s movements has improved. By performing various exercises with their fingers, children achieve good development of fine motor skills of the hands, which not only has a beneficial effect on the development of speech (since this inductively excites the speech centers), but also prepares them for drawing and writing. The hands acquire good mobility and flexibility, stiffness of movements disappears, this further facilitates the acquisition of writing skills. When learning the elements of writing, these children demonstrated good pressure, “confident” lines, and they cope significantly better than their peers with the program requirements for visual activities. All this creates a favorable basis for more successful learning at school.
I recommend wider use of a variety of games and exercises aimed at developing fine movements of the fingers not only for teachers of both speech and general development groups.

Finger gymnastics.

What are finger games? Play is one of the best ways to develop children's speech and thinking. It gives the child pleasure and joy, and these feelings are the strongest means of stimulating the active perception of speech and generating independent speech activity. It is interesting that very young children, even when playing alone, often express their thoughts out loud, while older children play silently.

Organized games, including finger games, accompanied by speech, turn into unique small performances. They captivate kids so much and bring them so many benefits! Children can remember and reproduce a lot from the words of adults; they just need to repeat the text several times.

Mischievous poems and counting rhymes will help awaken children's imagination and creative initiative. Finger games can be an excellent means of initial aesthetic education.

The main goal of finger games is to switch attention, improve coordination and fine motor skills, which directly affects the mental development of the child. In addition, by repeating poetic lines and simultaneously moving their fingers, children develop correct sound pronunciation, the ability to speak quickly and clearly, improve memory, and the ability to coordinate movements and speech. Children with whom finger games were often played even have much better handwriting than others. A unique combination of good poems and simple massage techniques gives an amazing effect of active mental and physical development.
